Obi-wan had nearly pulled you out of your crèche class into his quarters. The very second the door hushed closed behind you, he was all over you.
A mess of hair pulling, pinched skin and biting, eluding the most wonderful sounds you had ever heard inside the Jedi Temple. His lips could pull you apart and together a thousand times, and you’d let him.
He pushed you into the mattress and moved to remove all your clothing.
Your mind unraveled in the pleasure of being the one he had chosen to be with, the delight of knowing that below the mighty and disciplined Jedi was a man who you happened to have wrapped around your finger; your core tightened at the attention he put in you, how he had learned to understand your gasps and whines, the rise and fall of your chest to push you over the edge as he pleased.
“Your thoughts, darling” Obi-wan murmured against your skin.
Waking up from your trance, you turned to see him, “What about them?”
His breath fanned your collarbones as he stopped, “may I remind you where we are? If you are not careful anyone will see what you're seeing” he kissed your jaw, “think what you are thinking” sucked on your jugular, “feel what you are feeling” he swiped his tongue on the fresh wound, making you tremble.
“Then get me a youngling helmet” your tease was answered by another bit on your neck. “Ouch!”
“I might” He smirked but his eyes examined you, his Force signature brushing yours carefully, “what’s wrong?” he asked after his silent investigation was complete. He was still on top of you, though his gaze was no longer blazing through you, but caring and understanding.
“There’s this new girl in the crèche, she cries a lot” you sighed, “She misses her mother, I guess. And I cradle her often, I play with her, but I am worried she won’t be able to reach her full potential if she is grieving.” Your hand raised to play with a strand of his hair, now shoulder length.
“Most definitely won’t if you continue to pity her”
His words could have been a saber through your chest. With a grin you rolled to be on top of him, earning a breathy laugh.
“Why do you have to be so wise?” You slapped his chest playfully, “can’t you just let me sulk in peace?”
“Please, my dear” he took your hand, placing a kiss on your palm, “remember I am a master and as such I am automatically wiser than you” his words came out hoarse due to the laugh he was trying to keep, all the while you grinned, using your free hand to pull his hair.
“Master…” You rolled your eyes with a smile.
He pushed you to be on top of you again, now your head falling off the bed, his hands keeping you rooted to the mattress.
“Please, say it, I dare you to say it right now”
You raised your head to him, a teasing smile on your lips as you muttered “Master my ass”
“Oh it will be my pleasure”
In a playful act of pushing a pulling, of his hands on your waist and yours on his arms, Obi-wan had finally managed to roll you on the bed to lay on your chest when a knock on the door stopped both of your laughs.
“It’s Anakin” you raised to your elbows when you felt his signature peaking through the hall.
“If we don’t answer he’ll just go” Obi-wan lips graced your skin as he spoke.
You gave him a disapproving look.
Then you heard the kid call your name, followed by an “I know you are there”
Obi-wan grunted as he rolled off you, falling on the bed to your right. You stood up, gathering your clothes and getting dressed as you walked to the door.
“She won’t shut up about you!” The door hadn't even opened all the way when Anakin was pointing at the toddler he had perched on his hand. His little brows furrowed in anger.
You looked at the little girl, her eyes dwelled from crying. As soon as she saw you, she raised her arms asking you to pull her up. So you did, walking back inside with both children.
Obi-wan was already sitting on the couch, pretending to read when the three of you walked in. Anakin quickly jumped to the bed, pulling out a holo pad. A high pitched and speeded up music started to play as he focused on the screen.
You stood next to Obi-wan, an apologetic smile on your lips. His hand raised to rest on your hip, his bright blue eyes looking up at you with fondness.
“Who’s that?” Obi-wan’s eyebrows lifted, looking at the girl in your arms.
“This little jedi is Ahsoka” your voice was softer when you looked at her, “and I have spoiled her so bad, haven’t I?” You kissed her forehead. “I must take her back to the crèche, sorry.” Your attention returned to Obi-wan.
There was a faint smile on his lips. “I’ve got my hands full with this one, anyways”
You bent down to steal a kiss from his lips. He pulled you to sit next to him, placing an arm around your shoulders.
“All we have ever known is the Jedi.” Obi-wan began, his gaze lost on Anakin. “Every fear we have has been introduced by them, every dream, affliction, worry. Everything we know is what the Order has made us believe. We do not know what a Mother feels like, a father or a sibling. We just know this… cult. That’s why we never had these outbursts growing up.” He gestured to Ahsoka, her hand wrapping around his finger. “But she knows what a mother feels like, and she needs her. Not a female master, not a creche master, this little girl needs her mother. Just like this guy.” With a move of head he gestured at the kid that was biting his tongue slightly out of his mouth, brows furrowed and eyes focused on the holo-game in his hands. “He also craves for the father he thought he had found in Qui Gon.”
You scoffed in sarcastic amusement, “A father in Qui Gon Jinn, then he really doesn’t know what it is like.”
Obi-wan’s gaze fell with sorrow. “Who would you call father, then?”
You scoffed. “Nobody”
“Your master, no?”
“No!” You whined, “Dooku was sweet” you murmured with a smile on your lips.
“Was he?” Obi-wan’s eyes glinted.
“He used to bring me cassettes of his favorite bands”
Obi-wan leaned back on the couch, his hand drawing circles on your back.
“And he took me to a concert once”
He laughed, “wha—how?”
“Well he had certain privileges. He asked Windu to take me out, didn’t say where we were going and took me to the theater. It was this fancy box in the middle. I was maybe twelve? It was so much fun.”
“Did he sing along?”
“Of course not” You turned to him smirking, “he was too cool for that. But I did, and that was enough.”
“So was Dooku a father to you?”
Your head moved sideways, “more like a cool uncle. Was Master Jinn a father to you?”
He scoffed, “of course not”
Leaning backwards against his arms, you cuddled next to him. “There you go, Ani can’t know what a father is, because he never had one”
“He may not have had one, but he knows what it looks like, and that’s worse. Because grieving what you never had leads you to craft what you have into what you want, but it will crumble down sooner or later.”
With a sight, your eyes moved between Obi-wan and Ahsoka, “I can’t be her mother.”
Ahsoka cuddled further on your chest.
Obi-wan looked at you, a line of silver water in his eyes, “neither can I be his father”
“But I can still love her, and so can you.”
“We are Jedi, we are not bound to the attachments of ordinary love.” His fingers tapped the book on his hands anxiously.
You grabbed his hand in yours, your gaze kind and soft. “Ain’t that the truth?”
Obi-wan blushed, raising your hand to kiss your knuckles. “Look at us playing house,” his eyebrows rose in a hopeless sight.
You let loose a breath you didn’t know had been holding, probably ever since your first kiss. “It would have been fun.”
He pulled you to his chest at the sight of your glazed eyes. You nuzzled in, thinking of what could have been.
After a few minutes of his hand running up and down your back, you stood in one movement, “Have a good night Master Kenobi, Anakin.” Your head bowed to both of them before leaving the room with Ahsoka on your arms.

Star Wars really said "Anakin Skywalker had issues rooted in childhood trauma that was not his fault" but also "Anakin made his own choices as an adult for which he alone is responsible" but ALSO "In spite of the truly evil things he chose to do Anakin was still capable of being loved and redeemed" and I think that's important.

One of my favourite Anakin facts is that he doesn’t just follow a classic fall-from-grace arc—he mirrors Lucifer’s fall.
Lucifer, like Anakin, was the chosen one. The most beautiful, the most precious of God's creations. The most loved, the most powerful. But even with all that light, (Lucifer literally means light-bringer) he still had the most tragic fall. He didn’t just stumble. He plummeted into the deepest pits of hell.
Lucifer was used, burdened, worn down by glory. And when he could take no more, he chose himself over obedience and thus was cast out.
Like Lucifer, Anakin’s greatness couldn’t save him. His love couldn’t protect him. Some of the people meant to guide him only used him. Palpatine didn’t just manipulate him—he pushed him until he broke.
Anakin was pulled to the darkness. Broken apart piece by piece by the very person who claimed to protect him. Used until there was nothing left but anger and grief and love twisted into fear. Being chosen doesn’t protect you. Being beautiful doesn’t save you. Being powerful doesn’t mean you can carry what’s demanded of you without breaking.
And in the end, the result is the same:
A tragic, catastrophic fall of the most radiant and powerful of them all.

Undercover and Uncovered
Obi-Wan Kenobi was not easily distracted. He’d faced Sith Lords, bounty hunters, and bureaucrats alike without so much as flinching. But now, standing in the hallway of a dimly lit inn on the outskirts of a Separatist-controlled system, he found himself at a complete loss.
Because you walked out of your room.
Not in your Jedi robes.
You wore something simple—civilian clothes to blend in during the mission—a soft tunic, well-fitted trousers, and a light cloak draped over your shoulders. Nothing flashy. Nothing out of place. But to Obi-Wan, it may as well have been a royal gown. He blinked. Once. Twice.
You tilted your head. “Is something wrong?”
He cleared his throat, standing up straighter, clasping his hands behind his back in that overly formal way he did when he didn’t know what to do with them. “No—ah, not at all. You just… look nice. Out of your robes.”
There was a pause. A too long pause.
Obi-Wan’s eyes widened slightly, realizing what he said. “I mean—not that you don’t always look nice. You do. You look nice all the time. I mean—Force—not that I notice all the time—” He rubbed his beard, suddenly fascinated with a spot on the floor. “I’m going to stop talking now.”
You blinked, cheeks warming, then gave a small smile that made his heart do something it absolutely shouldn’t do. “Thank you, Obi-Wan.”
You turned and walked toward the exit, still smiling to yourself.
From behind him, a slow clap echoed.
Obi-Wan sighed without turning. “Anakin.”
Anakin Skywalker leaned against the wall, arms crossed and a smirk playing on his lips. “Well, that wasn’t embarrassing at all. Should I start planning the wedding now, or…?”
Obi-Wan shot him a look sharp enough to cut through durasteel. “Not. A word.”
Anakin pushed off the wall and followed after him with a grin. “Oh no, Master. I think this is exactly the kind of thing we need to talk about. You’re blushing.”
“I am not.”
“You so are.”
Obi-Wan exhaled deeply, muttering something about why he ever took on a Padawan in the first place.

Could you write a obi wan x reader where the reader loses a limb in Attack of the Clones to Count Dooku. In a brief second Obiwan thought he was going to lose the reader like quigon and blames himself for what happened to the reader
Almost Lost You
A/N: I really wanted to use this gif, was just waiting for the right story!!
~
The searing pain shot up your arm before your brain could register what had happened.
One moment you were locked in battle, your lightsaber clashing violently with Count Dooku’s red blade, and the next—everything exploded in white-hot agony. You hit the stone floor of the hangar with a thud, your lightsaber skidding across the surface. Your vision blurred, the sound of your own scream echoing around you.
Your arm. Stars, your arm—was gone.
Dooku raised his blade again, cold and precise.
And then Obi-Wan was there.
He came between you and death in a breathless blur of brown robes and blue light, blocking the next strike with a ferocity that made Dooku pause. His face, usually calm even in battle, was twisted with something raw. Fear. Rage. Desperation.
“No!” Obi-Wan roared, forcing Dooku back with a flurry of strikes.
The duel pulled away from you, and you could do nothing but lie there, gasping, your severed limb a cauterized ruin. You tasted blood. You felt the cold of the stone. You heard your heartbeat crashing like waves in your ears.
And you saw the moment Obi-Wan glanced back at you—just for a second—and the terror in his eyes.
Not again.
Not like Qui-Gon.
Later, after Dooku had escaped and the medics swarmed, Obi-Wan refused to leave your side.
They tried to lead him away—he had his own injuries—but he stayed rooted at your bedside in the medbay, face pale and jaw tight, his hand trembling slightly as it brushed a stray lock of hair from your forehead.
“You should rest,” you croaked weakly, your voice rough.
“I nearly lost you,” he whispered, not meeting your eyes.
You blinked slowly, mind heavy from the painkillers. “But you didn’t.”
“I hesitated.” His voice cracked. “I thought—I saw you fall, and I—” He broke off, chest rising sharply as he clenched his fists. “For a moment, it was like Naboo. Like watching Qui-Gon fall all over again. And I couldn’t—”
“You saved me,” you said. You reached with your remaining hand, fingers brushing his. “You were there, Obi-Wan. That’s what matters.”
He swallowed hard, then finally looked at you, the anguish in his eyes raw and unguarded.
“I should have protected you better. I shouldn’t have let you fight him alone. I knew what Dooku was capable of—I knew—and still, I let you go in first.”
Your eyes stung, whether from pain or his words, you weren’t sure. “You didn’t let me. I chose to stand beside you. That’s what we do. That’s who we are.”
He bowed his head, gripping your hand like a lifeline.
“I couldn’t bear to lose you,” he murmured. “Not you. Not after everything.”
“You didn’t,” you whispered.
Obi-Wan leaned forward, pressing a kiss to your forehead, the barest touch—but full of everything he couldn’t say aloud. Not here. Not now.
But in that moment, you knew.
He had almost lost you. And it had nearly destroyed him.

Interrupted
Warnings: Jedi breaking rules, public embarrassment, flustered Obi-Wan, gossip, accidental voyeurism, and general unhinged Temple energy.
⸻
Part I: Almost
The corridors of the Jedi Temple were unusually quiet in the late hours of the night, cloaked in the kind of silence that invited secrets. You leaned against the wall just outside the training room, arms crossed, pretending to study the saber-scored walls while you waited.
You didn’t have to wait long. Obi-Wan’s presence slipped into the room like a shadow—calm, precise, infuriatingly magnetic.
“I thought we agreed this wasn’t a good idea,” he murmured, voice warm against your ear.
You tilted your head back slightly, lips curling. “You say that every time, and yet…”
“And yet,” he repeated, amusement flickering across his features. “Here I am.”
He stepped closer. His hand came up to brush your cheek, guiding you gently to face him. The air thickened between you. One moment, there was restraint—the next, his lips were brushing yours, cautious and heated and—
WHOOSH.
The door slid open.
“Master?” Anakin’s voice rang out. “Oh—sorry! Have either of you seen my lightsaber?”
Obi-Wan moved faster than you thought humanly possible, stepping back, posture suddenly very professional. You turned casually, as if discussing lightsaber stances was all you’d been doing.
“No, Anakin,” Obi-Wan said smoothly. “Try the Archives. Again.”
Anakin blinked. “Right. Okay. Sorry to interrupt.”
He disappeared.
A moment of silence passed.
You turned back to Obi-Wan. “So…?”
“Where were we?” he asked with a sigh, already stepping close again.
⸻
Part II: Close Calls
The next attempt was in the garden. Early evening. No one around. Just the scent of blossoms and the warmth of Obi-Wan’s body pressed against yours on the bench.
“Out here,” you whispered, “we’re just two people.”
He leaned in, lips barely brushing your jaw. “No rules. No Council. No Anakin.”
You giggled. “Don’t jinx it.”
He kissed you. Slow and deep. One hand slid under your tunic, fingers tracing up your back. Your thighs shifted to straddle him, and the kiss turned hungry.
And then—
“There you are!” Anakin’s voice again. “Master, I’ve been looking everywhere—oh. Sorry. Are you two… meditating again?”
Obi-Wan froze. His hand was still under your tunic.
You cleared your throat. “Yep. Very intense meditation.”
Anakin squinted. “Right… I’ll uh—see you later.”
He turned and walked away very quickly.
You sighed and flopped your head onto Obi-Wan’s shoulder.
He kissed your temple. “I hate him.”
⸻
That night in his quarters, you were done playing around. The door was locked. You were in his bed. His robes were off. Your shirt was halfway there.
“You’re sure it’s locked?” you asked, breathless as he moved down your body.
“Triple checked it,” he murmured against your skin.
Just as his lips brushed your lower stomach—
BEEP BEEP.
The commlink lit up. Obi-Wan didn’t move.
“Master? Are you coming to the late strategy session? I told them you’d be there…”
You groaned. “Skywalker’s going to die.”
Obi-Wan looked pained. “He’s this close to being reassigned.”
He shut the comm off. You locked your legs around his waist.
“Let’s try this again.”
⸻
Part III: He Walks In
It was the perfect storm. You were half-naked in Obi-Wan’s bed. His mouth was on your throat, fingers at your waistband. You were just about to—
CLICK.
The door. Opened.
“Obi-Wan?” came the very familiar voice of Anakin Skywalker. “I thought you were—OH—OH—KRIF—I—”
You screamed. Obi-Wan practically launched off of you, yanking a blanket around your body while you curled into a mortified ball. His hair was a mess. His robe was on the floor.
“ANAKIN!” Obi-Wan’s voice dropped an octave into murderous rage. “OUT.”
Anakin’s hands slapped over his eyes. “I DIDN’T KNOW—I WAS CHECKING IF YOU WERE SICK—REX SAID—”
“I SWEAR TO THE FORCE,” Obi-Wan growled, red-faced.
“SHUT THE DOOR!” you shouted.
“I’M SHUTTING IT! I’M SHUTTING IT!” SLAM.
Dead silence.
You stared at the ceiling.
Obi-Wan groaned into his hands. “He’s going to tell everyone.”
You sighed. “I mean… he already saw your everything.”
“He saw too much.”
You reached up and tugged him back down beside you. “Well. Guess we’re coming out.”
He looked at you, narrowed his eyes. “If anyone tapes anything to my door…”
⸻
Part IV: The Whole Temple Knows
They did.
Someone taped a handwritten sign to his door that read:
“Occupied: One Master, One Secret Lover. Knock at Your Own Risk.”
Ahsoka was the one who screamed first.
“YOU WERE MAKING OUT WITH OBI-WAN?!”
You turned in the hallway and sighed. “Please lower your voice.”
“Anakin said he saw your shirt come off! You moaned!”
“I had a cramp!”
“You were straddling him!”
“I WAS STRETCHING.”
She gasped. “Oh my Force, I’m telling Rex.”
“No—!”
Too late.
By midday, you were the hottest piece of gossip in the entire Jedi Temple. The Archives had a betting pool on how long it had been going on. One clone claimed he’d seen you sneaking out of Obi-Wan’s quarters months ago and now it all made sense.
Obi-Wan?
He was dying.
He maintained his dignity. Just barely. But you could see it slipping with every wink he got from Plo Koon, and every smug smirk from Windu.
“It’s a circus,” he muttered. “They’ve turned the Temple into a gossip den.”
You lounged on his couch, smug. “Told you it was going to come out eventually.”
He paced. “I’ve been a Jedi Master for twenty years. And this—this is my legacy.”
You bit your lip to hide your grin. “And I look very good in it.”
That shut him up for a second.
“…Well. That’s true.”
⸻
Epilogue: Consequences
At breakfast, Anakin refused to make eye contact.
Ahsoka was elbowing him. Rex was whispering something that made her choke on her caf.
You and Obi-Wan sat down like it was any normal day.
Anakin finally burst. “Please tell me this is just a fling.”
Obi-Wan sipped his tea, looking very Jedi and very done. “It’s not.”
“You’re serious?”
“Deeply.”
Anakin groaned and dropped his head to the table.
Ahsoka leaned over. “I, for one, support this chaotic romance. About time you two got caught.”
You smiled at Obi-Wan, who just sighed and slid a napkin over to Anakin.
It had “Next time, knock.” written on it.

stop blaming obi-wan kenobi for anakin skywalker’s fall: understanding accountability in complex relationships
there’s something that’s been frustrating me for a long time about the way we talk about obi-wan kenobi and anakin skywalker, especially in online discourse. namely, the persistent idea that obi-wan is in some way responsible for anakin’s turn to the dark side, that by not stopping him, not being “enough,” not seeing the signs, obi-wan enabled his fall and thus shares the blame for darth vader’s birth. i want to unpack why this reading is not just flawed in terms of character analysis and canon, but also why it echoes real-world patterns of excusing destructive behavior by blaming the people around it.
at its core, this idea that obi-wan “failed” anakin is harmful, because it echoes the logic we use to guilt victims and survivors of emotionally abusive or manipulative relationships. obi-wan and anakin were not equals in their emotional dynamic. they were master and apprentice, yes, but the power imbalance went both ways, anakin, who had been told since childhood that he was the “chosen one,” carried a narcissistic streak that grew as he did. he was entitled, he was possessive, and he struggled to take responsibility for his own emotions or decisions. obi-wan, for his part, was patient, cautious, deeply dutiful, and often emotionally reserved, but never malicious or neglectful.
and yet, people argue that obi-wan “let” anakin fall. that he “should have known.” but here’s the truth, anakin’s descent was not caused by a lack of love or oversight. it was caused by anakin’s choices. obi-wan didn’t plant the seeds of jealousy, fear, or violence in him. palpatine did. anakin’s attachment issues did. the jedi order’s flawed dogma did. but obi-wan? he spent his life trying to guide him, trying to connect with him, trying to save him. and in the end, he blamed himself when it all fell apart.
and that’s one of the most painfully real things about obi-wan kenobi’s character, he internalizes the blame for something he never caused. that’s what emotionally manipulative dynamics do. they make the people who gave everything feel like it was never enough. they convince the loyal ones that they failed. it is not only inaccurate to say obi-wan is to blame, it is cruel.
some people argue that because obi-wan stayed by anakin’s side, didn’t report him, didn’t force him to change, that he is somehow complicit. but that logic is flawed. we cannot hold people responsible for the actions of those who ultimately betray them. we cannot expect a friend, a mentor, or even a brother to save someone who refuses to be saved. the idea that someone like obi-wan should have known, should have stopped it, is a harmful narrative we often apply to people who’ve survived toxic relationships in real life, “why didn’t you leave?” “why didn’t you stop them?” “why didn’t you see it coming?” as if foresight could rewrite fate. as if love alone could fix someone bent on self-destruction.
and it’s not just about emotional abuse, it’s also about envy. anakin was jealous of obi-wan. from attack of the clones to revenge of the sith. he felt like obi-wan was the jedi ideal, respected, composed, everything anakin was told to be but could never fully become. and anakin hated that, even as he craved obi-wan’s approval. it’s a toxic cycle. it’s also worth saying that obi-wan clearly loved anakin, in his own way. he told him he was like a brother. he fought for him again and again. and anakin still turned on him.
did anakin care for obi-wan? at some point, yes. but did he deserve him? no. and that’s the heart of this. anakin skywalker did not deserve obi-wan kenobi. and no amount of tragedy or pain can make that untrue. obi-wan didn’t betray anakin. anakin betrayed obi-wan.
now, this doesn’t mean we have to hate anakin. i don’t. i think he’s fascinating. i think he’s one of the most layered characters in the franchise. but i also think we need to stop treating that complexity like an excuse. just because a character is compelling doesn’t mean we should defend their actions. i love watching director krennic and darth maul. i find them compelling, tragic, interesting. but i would never justify what they did. and the same should be true for anakin skywalker.
ultimately, it is important to remember that this is the internet, and encountering differing opinions is both inevitable and, in the grand scheme of things, this issue is not that serious. it’s entirely acceptable to disagree. personally, i find anakin skywalker to be a brilliantly crafted character, his complexity, flaws, and arc make him compelling, and as evident from my previous posts, i’ve never expressed any grave issue with him. at the end of the day, he is a fictional figure, and like many others, i enjoy writing about him and engaging with his story simply because he’s an interesting and important part of the star wars universe.

Kenobi Rewatch: Episode Five
• TIME FOR SOME DEAD 👏 WIFE 👏 FLASHBACKS 👏
• The way the first flashback cuts STRONGLY implies that it was Vader thinking of that day as he stared silently into the black void of space on the bridge of the Executor. No I will not be taking constructive criticism on this.
• I didn't remember that Haja made it to the Jedi underground railroad! I'm happy to see him.
• "If we attack now we can break them." "It is not THEM we need to break." Vader is literally like how many different times do I have to say that I don't KRIFFING care about anything except Obi-Wan?
• "He'll attack next. He hasn't the patience for a siege." "How do you know?" *thousand yard stare as 13 years of his life flash before Obi-Wan's inner eye* (this hurts me so. much.)
• Okay, on first watch I was a little annoyed that they gave Obi-Wan this rousing 'rally the troops' moment and then made it clear that he had approximately 0.3% of a plan that immediately went wrong. HOWEVER. Upon further consideration, I must concede that this is actually extremely on brand.
• "You trust me? I trust her. Get her a ladder." This moment ALONE means Leia will love Obi-Wan for the rest of her life. Can you imagine how it feels to be a 10yo girl and have not just an adult but a Very Important adult back you in a moment like that? Especially LEIA, who has always wanted to be taken seriously and to be able to DO something.
• The Order 66 flashbacks... I'm undone.
• You can see the outer shell of the person Reva has built herself into just start cracking to pieces. "We thought he was there to help us." Her voice is so quiet.
• "Because we want the same thing." "DO WE, Obi-Wan? Do you REALLY want Anakin dead?" ONE HIT KNOCKOUT, ROUND TO REVA
• "Where were you, while he was killing my friends? Why didn't you stop him? Why didn't you save us?" NOPE, I WAS WRONG, WE'RE STILL GOING LADS
• I love the microscope this show takes to what exactly the Dark Side does to you. It's so complicated and twisted-up and sad.
• Hard to overstate how stupid this fight scene is in the bunker. They're doing some 1800s-style slowly-advancing-troop-lines-ending-in-melee-combat-with-guns strategy. No one in this town has ever heard of cover or concealment.
• Anakin. Anakin. Only a little baby idiot would make the mistake of thinking Obi-Wan Kenobi would ever give up on anything, ever.
• Obi-Wan leaving his lightsaber with Haja... "There are other ways to fight." <3<3<3 It's giving 'a Jedi is never unarmed' from the comic panel where he shoots out of the ocean on a waterspout.
• "You're not bringing him to me. I'm bringing him to you." *braces hands on hips & bends over, exhaling for 30 seconds straight* whhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo alright
• I'm not convinced Reva was really ever 'hunting Vader' in a committed, coherent way. Nor was she really serving the Empire wholeheartedly. I think she's doing everything and nothing at the same time and her psyche is so shattered that from minute to minute her motivation shifts. The only constant is how much she hates and how much pain she's in.
• ALL HE'LL SEE IS ME
• Leia & Obi-Wan HUG!!!!!!!!!!!! I meant to make a hug counter for this rewatch, but it slipped my mind.
• I LOVE AN OP DARTH VADER FORCE MOMENT.........
• The only thing better than the raw awesome of ripping a ship out of the sky is his (lack of a) FACE when he sees the other ship take off. It's such a palpable "by Talos this can't be happening."
• Okay, the Reva vs Vader fight is a LOT
I think trying to stab him in the back at LITERALLY any point in the 10 minutes before this would have worked out better for her than waiting till he's NOT distracted anymore.
Have I mentioned that I LOOOOOOVE an OP Darth Vader Force moment...
I love him fighting her Ezra-style unarmed with the Force.
I love him THROWING the lightsaber in the! signature! move!
I wish she had gotten at least one hit on him, even if it were just the first one with the element of surprise.
