The Aegislash had gone the previous day to the Explorer’s Guild, seeking out the services of a particular member, an Espeon named Clara, who was rumoured to have immense psychic ability and would therefore be able to assist him in traversing the dungeon he wished to enter. His need in entering such a dangerous dungeon was due to the fact that he needed a particular stone for his research. Likely, it could only be found on the lowermost floors of said dungeon, which was said to be filled with hostile Pokemon.
The next day as he waits at the entrance to the Guild, he eyes the Espeon as she approaches him. No words are exchanged; least not verbally. He hears her voice clearly in his mind, and a raises tasseled hand in response before projecting his own thoughts onto her: Thank you, Clara. I am Steven. Yes, I wish to be brought to the lowermost floor of Ornate Cave, where a powerful stone is said to reside. I seek to obtain that stone. I cannot do it myself but with your assistance, it will make things much easier.
Shall we go? he asks of her, after a brief moment of silence. He glides out of the door and into the sunshine, the eyes of the guild members on him as he waits for Clara to join him. Hopefully this expedition would be one that is fulfilling. He would reward her handsomely should they succeed. If they fail? Well, let’s not think about that.
Searching for Stones || Clara & Steven [PMD AU Event]
@petra-ferrum
The young Espeon’s ears twitched in time with her forked tail, an indicator of her nerves. She didn’t often deal directly with people requesting the Rescuer’s Guild services–this wasn’t even a usual request for them. It was exactly because it was out of the ordinary that she was the one who needed to consult, of course.
The client in question needed her psychic powers, for what she wasn’t yet sure. Something that could only be reached and removed by her, most likely. Clara was glad to help, yes, but she wasn’t sure how communication would go. No matter; shaking off her apprehension, she trotted into the entryway of the guild hall, where Steven Stone, the Aegislash in question, was waiting.
Raising a paw to get his attention, she adjusted her bag of supplies and walked up to him, dipping her head in greeting before her eyes and gem glowed. I am Clara. You wanted my help in a mystery dungeon? The words were projected into his mind, and took all her concentration. She wouldn’t be able to say much to him once they were inside whatever labyrinth he wished to be escorted through. Hopefully he would be understanding.

heatwave ; steven & glacia
Starter for @glaciaprimafrost
Summers in Hoenn, heck, summers anywhere are a time for much merrymaking, in which quick cool drinks and flings abound. Steven, still clutching his phone, flicks through the emails that he has received over the past few days before finding Glacia’s email. It asks of him and then invites him to her Kalosian villa, of which he is currently standing in front of.
Having just landed via air all the way from Sinnoh, he’s tired, seeing as the bags that he’s holding seem to gain more weight when airborne. Physics is weird, or that’s how he attempts to reason it. Maybe he just imagined the whole thing. Once, twice the knocks come and he waits for her to open before finding that the door is already unlocked. P.S. Let yourself in, he finally recalls the last line of the email saying.
The villa is an illustrious building, even more than his own beach home on the very same shores The facade is Greek-inspired, with large white columns and hanging potted plants and as he enters, the traditional exterior gives way to a more modern interior, an Art Deco mishmash of abstract paintings, sculptures and furniture that looks way too fragile to sit on.
He does not see her the moment he enters and, dragging his large suitcase in, sets it aside along with his coat near a large mask painted in the visage of a Walrein before shutting the door behind him. She could be asleep, he thinks, quietly surveying the interior of the room that he is in. The collection of art she has here is extensive and impressive.
He maneuvers his way around the large glass dining table, past the rows of books on antique bookshelves, and finds a plush couch facing the balcony, where beyond, the sea is visible. Still unable to find her, he sits and gazes out into the sunshine and watches as both Pokemon and humans interact.
Not being in a hurry, seeing as it is summertime was a blessing to him, as he longed for an extended period of time of which he could have time to himself or with close friends and family. As this blessing bestows itself, he finds himself lost in thought until he does not notice a looming shadow behind him.

Steven is rather curious lad, full of promise and all that. He is a Geologist at Pinap Labs and spends 95% of his time there as he’s practically married to his work. Specializing in evolutionary stones, he seeks to find more stones and means of evolution by studying the geological factors that trigger a biological change in some Pokémon.

The call to the Champion’s ring in the PWT came one fine sunny day in Mossdeep as an embossed sigil lay on the front cover of the large, otherwise plain envelope and inside, a lacy, pastel background accompanied the following words: “Steven Stone, hereby invited to the Pokemon World Tournament in Driftveil City, Unova as Champion of the Hoenn Region.”
Initially, he had qualms about going at all, for it meant meeting people and soirees and all sorts of formal deals he had to wade through. Then, his mind drifts to Wallace and the thought of dragging his friend out into replacing him whilst he was away put a smile on his face. Besides, all new experience, all new city, all new people, right? So Steven goes to Driftveil, by first class flight no less (the perks of being an heir to a tech empire) and lands there to find he had been placed in the same warm-up lap as Cynthia (Sinnoh), Lance (Johto) and Green (Kanto). The first two, Steven had read plenty about but Green was a mystery to him. Wasn’t the Champion someone called Red? Regardless, he had a team that was balanced and his play tactics, rather fascinating.
Steven had half a mind of speaking to Green but doing so, he thought, may possibly inundate him with unnecessary relations to deal with. So he retreats to the break room after the competition and closing his eyes briefly, he opens them to find Green striding in, unannounced, into the same room. Then his eyes widen as the young boy sits right next to him and starts speaking as though Steven and him were best buds. “Aah,” were the first words that come up before he regains his composure, “Ah, I am and yes, my father is the head of Devon.” A nervous laugh escapes him. “Thank you very much. Your play tactics were pretty up to par as well.”
He reaches for the young boy’s hand and returns the handshake as firmly as possible. “Pleasure, Green.” When the boy’s bitter confession comes, it is only then Steven puts two and two together. “Ah,” is all he’s able to say in the silence that follows. “I’m sorry to hear that but,” here, he attempts to reduce the boy’s bitterness, “if I may say something, your battles - I watched most of them. As I’ve said before, your tactics are top notch and during that one battle against a Meganium, you were able to turn the tables quickly on your opponent despite being down to your Blastoise.”
After his little pep speech, Steven hopes he’d done enough to bring a smile to the boy’s face. Then it struck him he’d no idea what to say next. It is sudden enough that the young man plops himself down next to him, another when he starts speaking to him as though he were a bosom friend.
“So Green,” he begins, sitting up straight in his chair, “it’s off hours now, would you like to join me for a quick drink?” He’s not sure what else to say because the sudden propensity of it all has him a wee bit startled and daresay, frightened. Steven’s not one for strangers, preferring to keep a low profile despite Champion status. Despite all this, here he is with the Kanto Champion, offering him a free drink.
Grand Prix | Green & Steven
Plotted Ahead! | @petra-ferrum
Just about the only reason he’d decided to haul his ass out miles and miles from his familiar Kantonian home all the way to the region of Unova was this: the Pokemon World Tournament. It was a brand-spanking-new building nestled somewhere past the city of Driftveil, where important figures in Pokemon battling were invited from near and far to participate. Seemed like a load of shit to someone like Green, but here was the kicker: as the invitation was sent out, enclosed was the designation in which the trainer was to participate – Kanto Leaders, Sinnoh Leaders, Type Masters – so on and the like. But Green? He was given a special designation, and a folded-up letter across a lacy background, inviting him – yes, he, Green Oak – to represent Kanto as the Champion.
