So far in LA an Australian news reporter has been shot in the leg by a rubber bullet, a British reporter has been shot by a sponge bullet and sent to the hospital for emergency surgery. A NY Post reporter has been shot in the head with a rubber bullet and went to the hospital for a large bruise on his forehead, whiplash and neck pain, and CNN reporters were handcuffed and escorted away being told to not come back or they will be arrested BECAUSE they are reporters.

It seems like all reporters there to give the real story are being targeted by police/ICE/military in LA.

I turned in the book manuscript for INTERMEDIARIES, the forgotten history of the first transgender clinic 1918-1933.

It follows the story of Dora Richter, the first transgender woman to undergo complete MTF surgery (not Lili Elbe; she was third!) It���s taken me two years of blood, sweat, and tears. A lot of tears, actually.

The Nazis raided the Institute for Sexual Science; they burned the library. They banned the books that remained. They attacked, arrested, and ultimately killed trans and homosexual people along with disabled people, minority groups like the Roma people, political opponents, and 6 million Jews. (One commenter suggested 11 million people over all, and really, that estimate may still be conservative).

The news today, 2023, reads a lot like news in 1923 with the rise of hatred against LGBTQ, attacks on reproductive rights, and increasing racism and antisemitism. The Nazis rose throughout the 1920s, coming into power 1930-1933.

The world said never again; we must now be the ones to stop a slide into hatred and violence. Before it’s too late.

Due to the situation in America, I've decided to make a discord server with PDFs of the banned books.

Nosferatu's library is divided into categories based on authors, with each book having its own channel and each author having a discussion forum for you to talk about the books and the authors.

There is also a general chat, a channel where I update all the books I intend to add, and a channel to recommend more books to add.

Fuck Trump. Stay strong. Don't let the fascists win.

Edit: No, I will not be using a different platform or way to do this. I'm not asking for advice on what to use instead of Discord. If you know a better way, do it yourself. I will gladly share the PDFs with you. Otherwise, I'll stick to my method.

Edit 4: Server re-work is mostly done. We're working through as many important books and files as we can. We still don't take book requests for now, but we've managed to obtain a lot of CDC documents, history and safety resources (i love you willow).

Edit 5: We've reached 1000 people in the server!! Game recommendations have been added, as well as a bunch of history and safety resources. We're working on adding Native American resources and Religious Resources. Our researchers team is growing. Starting tomorrow, I will personally work on narrating audiobooks of the books we have. There's currently 800+ files on the server. Thank you to everyone who helped. Book recommendations have been re-opened.
