Idk how up to date you are on TWST or if you've been interested in it all lately (I'm pretty sure you've mentioned having adhd before and I have that too) so ig my question is: how up to date are you? I did have some asks saved for when requests open up again but they may or may not be spoilers so I just wanted to check.

This is a very niche compliment but I mean it: I appreciate the fact that you write dark things. It's genuinely writers like you that inspire me to write. I love seeing the variety of ways darker topics can be used to tell stories. I hope you have a good day/night/whenever :)

My "writing dark themes" started veeeery young as a way to deal with severe intrusive thoughts/OCD— in the sense that making stories with the things that my brain was trying to haunt me with took the threat out of them. Learning how the Bad Stuff worked well enough to use it in a story gave me the mental resources to defuse the thought spirals, and that was a huge help for my early teenage mental state.

This is going to probably be almost all One Piece stuff, so... I'm sorry if that's not what you're here for. XD

Grainjew writes THE GOOD SHIT (character analysis). They're the author of two amongst very few fics centering around my One Piece fav, and I am so very delighted to have such quality writing devoted to my special boy.

123_crowbar_solo is also amazing. They write impeccable comedy; both utter crack and perfectly in character. Some of my favorites of their works include Gallows Humor, The Sigma Male Grindset, False Pretences, and Diplomatic Mission.

NeonClamp has also been on my mind lately, for similar comedic skill. Their Jabra/Spandam work initially got my attention, but its their takes on the Vinsmoke siblings that have me hooked. Excellent, excellent characterization there, especially for such nuanced disasters as that set.

On a non-One Piece note, fitzefitcher has done some oustanding KnY fics. This one is probably my favorite (giving the demons Hollow-like traits??? YES PLEASE), but their longer work was striking enough to make me re-think my Douma characterization.

Feeling slowly yet progressively less awful, thanks to managing my hypermobility problem!! VERY NICE thing right there.

I don't think I've mentioned my job here yet??? But I've been working at my local museum, and earlier this week, my boss/the director showed serious interest in using my art for our monthly public display. I'm SHOCKED, yet extremely excited. O_O

This set of OCs I developed recently. Love them!! Excellent awful bunch to have rotating in my head for the last few weeks!

In practice, reader-inserts, because they're versatile and far more interesting to others than original characters. I would like to write original characters more, but with everything else on my plate, they just don't feel... important enough, I guess? Especially when maybe two people other than myself would enjoy the result... >.>

Uhhhh... that's hard to say. I've researched a LOT of strange things, both for direct writing research reasons and general curiosity that later leads to ideas. I guess the over two hours spent trying to fact-check the tanuki balls thing for @senjuushi Hybrid Au reasons was probably one of the stranger ones???

I did! It was back in 2022 or so, and the writing is still on this blog. And of course, there was a Hybrid Au involved~ ;3

My interest in the series didn't last long (and I was mostly writing for it for a friend, in the first place), but I hope the old pieces are still enjoyable for you!
