I’m a sucker for Good Dad Splinter ever since I watched TMNT ‘03. That rat was gifted sapience and his immediate instinct was kindness. I love that for him.

Rise Splinter lived a rollercoaster of a life, but as a Hollywood star he remembered the names of all his stunt guys and coworkers, and as a prisoner he cared for the rat that shared his cell. His sons are very close and physically affectionate, I think that says something about how he cares? That’s just how I like to headcanon him :)

It’s interesting to explore the idea that a seemingly monstrous transformation is what pushed him to be a kinder human

I drew Fredrick back in 2022, if I remember correctly. I wanted to do a King Edmund piece. Their color palette is (supposedly) inverted and they're facing different directions to show how they handled the black rocks differently. But thier faces are in the same to show how they both ignored the problem and the ones who opposed them are in the same spot to show that they aren't solving the root issue. But Edmunds looking at the viewer to show that he at least acknowledges it.

Whenever I thought about these goobers driving I just think of them doing it like those crashing car simulator games, and them trying to destroy everything in their path including pedestrians. Also if they are gonna do this why use brakes? Plus I just wanted to fiddle around with coloring. Have a great day / night!
