"Yes, yes, everyone does, that's nothing new." Aak is trying at least, to be a little nicer around the ship, just like Hung asked and Waai Fu more or less demanded. He's trying, that counts for something, right? But anyways, patient, examination and treatment. That's what he's here for, as much as he'd be very happy to keep being a little shit.
"I'm on it, I'm checking—" while his bedside manners could still use some more work, Aak is doing his part on the medical side, going quiet when he's looking closer, for once focused on his task, hands tracing the exposed muscles. The various scrapes and bruises are there, yes, most of them already having stopped bleeding on the way back to the landship, the treatment required for the actual flesh wounds will be minimal— the real issue at hand that required his attention, however?
"We're about to find out— they called me in because a few crystals of the not so nice variety are digging riiiiight into your skin when they're supposed to be nice and quiet sitting right on top of it, according to your oripathy case." And meanwhile, Aak is reaching for the preliminary vitals and data so handily captured by the oripathy monitor, humming to himself as he starts going through them. "You got your kitty cat freaking out, by the way— you should see how he's pacing outside." Someone's in trouble after they're done here, and for once it's not going to be him.
"I can see how you got everyone so freaked out, though— those things were really trying to stab you back there. Sheesh, I'd almost think you're enjoying this or something! Am I going to have to be the one referring you back to the psych department?" But finally, Aak puts the tablet down, turning to look back at Roark again. "You're lucky your fancy spikes are already in your body like that, though— all the blood's still inside your body and all the bad stuff stayed outside your body! For sure gonna hurt like hell, though. We'll just take care of all those other gnarly scratches of yours and you'll be as good as new. Oripathy readings look fine after all the agitating your oripathy settled down, by the way— least for now, we'll see if anything changes." And with that report, Aak is ready to get to work, supplies retrieved and soon laid out to clean up everything he can find. Just to be sure a certain stupid gator won't make anything worse. But before he does that, he leans over to be able to look at Roark in the face, grin juuuust a bit wider. Not a very good sign.
"Oh, by the way— I don't think I need to tell you to take it easy for a bit and rest up to let all the inner damage heal, right? Or will I have an excuse to cook up somethin' new to knock you right out? I do have a few ideas in mind that would be fun to try out, you know—"
"I'll be the first to admit I have a bias—" Roark whines, the fear sets his tail stiff, knowing full well that while Aak is quite literally the most qualified doctor that Rhodes has in it's disposal, he is equally the least safe to be around if given the luxury to be a menace. The archosaurian sighs heavily, shrugging into himself when Aak pats him right on his head—right. He's short in any other situation besides this one. Still, there's no answer to his question, and it allows the worry to fester. But.. at least the feline is in a good mood...?
Ugh, the worst part is knowing the concoctions Aak has come up with are actually incredibly solid. He hasn't missed once. Besides, Roark has someone that worries sick over him these days, doesn't he?
"..Let's just hear the whole damage report first before I take another chance—you know the last time I had the worst charlie horse of my life before that balm you handed me helped out with those muscle injuries awhile back. Worst pain of my life!" Roark huffs, but he doesn't dare impede Aak as he continues his examination. Of course, the fact he's here meant something in his charts had tipped one of the medics off and it escalated quicker than it needed to. Or, maybe Aak was the only one available at the moment and it was a stroke of bad luck.
Well. If Hung was always in tip-top shape and Aak was his primary care, surely nothing could go wrong here, right? Brows furrow, pouting as the harmacist continues with his rambling, believable to be friendliness if it wasn't for the coy glint in the single wide eye that scrutinizes him. Well. He wouldn't have had to deal with this in the first place if he didn't go tearing up his shoulders again and feeling it in his back, now did he?
"Real question—is my oripathy acting up again? I know I messed up my shoulders, but the big guns aren't called in unless something's up with the assimilation numbers," the defender frowns some as he asks in earnest—thankfully, for all the chaos Aak could cause, he didn't really lie about his observations, at least.

@rockheadcd asked : "Noo..." Seeing the feline of all operators show up in the infirmary is never a good sign. Rhodes' trusted juggernaut must have really fucked up every which way to hell and back if the resident doctor many people avoided for good measure was called in. Roark has never looked more grumpier and concerned in any other situation. "Did Gav send for you as divine punishment or something?"

"Aaaaw, c'maaaan! I thought I was your favorite doctor on board!" He knows damn well that's a bold, horrible lie, and the archosaurian in front of him is in less than stellar shape, but Aak just— he really can't help himself, can he? He's fully aware of his reputation and of the ushered words exchanged on the landship about him, might as well have fun with it while he's still allowed in and play into it while he can, right?
( besides, if he's joking around like this then that must mean the current situation is not that dire, right? ... right?? )
Before getting started, Aak nonchalantly pats the top of Roark's head, just taking his chance while he's still so easily within reach, and the grin isn't dropping off his face either. "Don't worry about anything! I gotcha, you'll be fineeeeee, you're gonna be good as new when I'm done here! Hell, I even have a few experimental compounds we can try so you'll be back on your feet even faster, the first few tests didn't have a lot of side effects either! Isn't that great—" and he just keeps going, a little too happily yapping on and on as he gets started of assessing the damage and doing his actual job that he was specifically called here for. Is this enough of an incentive for Roark to start being more careful, maybe?
