charla was having a little too much fun at the party. she conjured an empty tray and managed to balance about twenty shot glasses filled with white gummy bear shots. then, she began walking over to random people for a single game of truth, dare, or drink. so far, she was nine for nine in getting people to drink rather than them answering her question or completing her dare. there were some who were stubborn enough to try a second time but merely ended up failing again. she walked around until she spotted someone who was too sober for her liking and approached them, ❝ hey — truth or dare? ❞
Phil was currently enjoying quietly observing the party from a less-populated corner of the Lobby. He was trying not to spend the whole night twirling his cape around --- it was a very good cape --- when he noticed someone was walking right up to him. “ Oh, Charla, hey! Um...” He furrowed his brows together as he seriously considered this particular question. Which would be less scary? “ Truth-- No, Dare--- Wait. Definitely... Tr-- Dare? ”

she couldn’t help but let out an air of laughter at his look but, to be fair, he had every right to be skeptical. a good term to describe charla would be extreme and her personality often seeped onto her activity choices. ❝ we can do something less intense like walking hershey or something. ❞
He gasped audibly at the suggestion, smiling brightly. “ Yes! Yes, let’s do that. Can we go get him right now? ” If there was one thing Phil was always down to do, night or day, hanging out with Hershey was definitely one of those. He wasn’t a particularly exciting dog, but something about him just made Phil feel at peace.

“i’m just tired, you know?” she started, sighing and just relaxing against the sofa, holding one of the cushions over her abdomen “she just keep yelling at me and i’m tired, i don’t know how to tell her that i hate her and i can’t train for five hours without a snack, it’s just not healthy” she was whining and just mumbling a lot of her words, she didn’t really hated anyone, really, he was just out of her element with training and everything in nemean lion. “i don’t want to do this anymore, i can’t do this anymore” she said again, a big pout in her lips.
“ Y-yeah? ” He wasn’t even sure that she was talking to him, but Phil didn’t want to leave her hanging either, whoever she was. It kind of sounded like she was new, but then again, he wasn’t exactly a social butterfly. He wouldn’t be surprised if they’d just never bumped into each other before. “ You know, I still have days like that, too. Sometimes I think I might actually die, and that’s not an exaggeration. It’s rough. Have you tried telling your trainer that you need a snack break? I can, um, even tell them for you. Probably. I know most of them personally, at least. Would-- Would that help? ”

charla was bored. she managed to finish all her training earlier than expected and had nothing else to do. she even went back to the training grounds to so some more but it was too crowded with new kids. so, she began wandering around the building, looking for something to do but as luck would have it, all the activities she wanted to do were booked. the only place left was the square and that’s where she saw a familiar face. ❝ hey! ❞ she jogged over to them with a smile, almost too excited, ❝ wanna do something fun? i’m way too bored right now. ❞
Phillip had been enjoying a quiet stroll around the square, keeping to himself for the most part, and people watching for a bit. That’s how he noticed Charla before she’d even looked his way. He was already grinning as she made her way over to him, waving in greeting the whole time. “Hey to you, too!” At her following question, however, he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. He was still smiling down at her even as apprehension filled him. “Depends on what you mean by fun. Am I gonna get hurt this time?”

She wasn’t in the best of moods, having just come from a bit of an argument with her father, and so Levi immediately threw herself that morning into the best distraction she knew—her work. With her trusty little black notebook in hand, she circled the square, some part of her hoping that not everything was operating so smoothly, just so she could drag out her rounds and keep herself occupied. A glance at her notebook and a double-take at one of the shops later, she got her wish. This one submitted a request to open up earlier starting that day, but it seemed, they were still very much closed. She scribbled a small note in her book when she noticed someone stopping beside her. “Do you know anyone working here?” she asked, without looking up at the person.
“Oh, I think---” Phillip stopped where he stood, standing agape as he processed the sight of who exactly was standing before him. It took him another moment to realize he'd just been standing there staring without saying anything and nearly tripped over his own tongue trying to fill the silence. “I, uh--... Miss, I mean, Levi, you-- Uh. Did you... come back, then?” Why in the world would he ask her that? He had always found her intimidating, even before Charla took the time to let him know she even had a sister, only to turn around and warn him away from her. It was just as well. Levi was a striking figure even without the added family context, and she had a way of making him feel particularly stupid just from being around her. “I mean, for good?” Gods, someone help him shut up.

Phillip was just making his way out of the library, furiously blinking away the sunlight, when he just barely missed bumping into a blurry figure passing his way. His eyesight was still adjusting as he raised a meek hand in greeting. “ Hey there, ” he stumbled out, “ That was my bad, I wasn’t watching where I was going. I’ll just-- Oh. ” Finally free to see clearly, Phillip was caught off guard by the remarkably beautiful woman he could have sworn he’d never once seen on the island. “ Oh, sorry. I, uh, don’t think we’ve met. I’m Phillip. Nice to meet you? ”

If there was anyone on the island who appreciated peace and quiet, Phillip was definitely one of them. But he also knew that if it was ever too quiet around here, it was only a matter of time. And it had been a while since he last saw his two favorite troublemakers...
“ Um, hey, sorry to bother but has-- has anyone seen Drew and/or Charla anywhere? Maybe even recently? ”

hi guys I’m back at it again with another character, this time it’s phillip :)
son of Ares, 23, and he’s been on the island for seven years
telumkinesis: he can summon weapons; he’s basically charla & drew’s personal weapons bag
pretty introverted but he does his best to make friends. it’s just hard
Anxiety :)
loves games and reading
spends a lot of time at the library
hates fighting
but he gets dragged around to train with drew & charla, who are highkey intense, so he’s generally competent at combat
just very shy and kind basically
hmu for possible plots! he mostly just needs like? friends who are normal and chill, or maybe sparring buddies who aren’t intense?
