The cut to Amelia’s comment was so sudden and abrupt it almost crossed over the line to comedic. Her expression - wide emerald orbs, dark eyebrows heavily furrowed - certainly took it that extra mile. Whether or not it was all just a mocking joke (after all, she was the goddaughter to a drama queen) was uncertain but Amelia appeared to be serious. Very serious. Never did she think she’d ever hear a muggle-related novel from a wizard. It was only after a few lingering seconds of awkward, intense staring did Amelia break her statue-like demeanor: leaning forward and hissing in sheer excitement.

                                “You know ‘the Lord of the Rings’?!”

         ❝  Uuuhm, yes, we do have Lord of the Rings                   in Italy too. It's a popular book. ❞

     The muggle-born wizard replied, not really understanding      what had Amelia so surprised. Surely she knew that they      translated popular books? It didn't occur to him that she      might not know that a lot of wizards grew up in the muggle      world. There's no way his brother Mario would have let him      grow into his late teens without reading Tolkien.
