FIRST WORD - THE SAGA OF THE FIRST AGE by B.Y.
Part I - First Light and First Shadow
“There was nothing.” No stars, no stones, no water, no fire. Only emptiness, and the first stirring in the void: A Word. That word was neither heard nor spoken. But existence was realized with it. And before the Word was spoken, two things were looking at each other: Light and Shadow. ✦ First Light The light neither shone nor burned. It was only known. And where the light looked, a thought was born: “I exist.” That thought created the first vibration. The vibration gave birth to what we call time. And at the dawn of time, the shadow also moved. ✦ The First Shadow The shadow did not run away from the light. It wanted to exist too. But not by appearing like the light - by hiding. And so the second thought occurred: “I can choose not to be.” This choice created the will. The will became the center of existence. And in this center two forces confronted each other for the first time: Light and Shadow. ✦ First Word What blood flowed from their clash, no voice rose. Only one Word was whispered: “Darra nykēla, vāedas gevives.” (One word unites all lives.) It was the first and most powerful echo in history. As soon as the word is spoken, the sky turned, the earth parted, and seven sparks leapt out of the darkness. These sparks were divided into seven: Seven Spirits, Seven Powers, Seven Kingdoms. ✦ First Fire, First Water, First Sky.
Velzorys' first flame. Umbrael's first shadow. The first light of Solarys Lunareth's first night dream. Naelora's first healing Thalassira's first song The first oath of the Nūmerys Each of these was born out of the reflection of the First Word. But there was a rule: “When the promise is fulfilled, everything begins anew.” And so…
The promise was kept to be forgotten. ✦ And the age began
Seven sparks fell on the land. And each one called his own people. So the first kings began to walk. But none of them remembered the First Word. They were just echoes of each other. And time it started to count. This is how the First Age began.
