“Sorry I messed up your kitchen.”

Yusuke’s gaze stays stuck on Kazuma’s hand for a moment, trying to assess if it’s worse than Kazuma is saying. But he’s probably right. It’s not like he hasn’t been through worse...

Doesn’t stop Yusuke from feeling kinda crappy about arguing so hard with him, though.

“Yeah, well... guess it’s not actually that big a deal. This whole place is already falling apart, anyway.” He sighs. “Think if we ever move outta here we can find a way to spin this so they don’t charge us for wrecking their shitty stuff?”

And Yusuke is real determined to keep giving him the stink eye, right up until he catches a glimpse of a big red blotch on the back of Kazuma’s hand. His eyes widen, and he reaches for it instinctively, examining the mark.

“Jeez, you even managed to get yourself burned? C’mon, don’t you know how to be careful?”
