it’s so easy but so hard. she honestly can’t decide what she’s feeling, nervousness or excitement or shame or all of the above. so instead of deciding, coco swallows and nods her head, automatically looking for a place for them to sit.

    coco’s trying not to be awkward and failing tremendously. in her defense, what do you even say in this situation? oh, hey velvet, sorry about all the terrible stuff we went through. and all that emotional stress i put you under. you good? not likely.

he was audibly huffing. it was a cold night, the puffs of cloud from his breath must have given him away. ren shook his head absently. he leant a little into velvet’s form where he pressed against the rabbit faunus’ back, raising his head, and closing his eyes. ‵ just — give me a moment. ‵

        ‘    you can have one then, its not like they won’t be here another night.    ‘        bracing himself to let ren put more weight against him, velvet can’t quite feel the heat. he came from vacuo and the heat there made cold nights like this seem like a cool summers breeze. eyes slip closed as velvet takes a slow inhale, drawn out to let the clean air in and sit before he lets a puff of his own breath out into the cold night.
