I am pausing in this post to celebrate simplicity. No grand tale of adventure for this blog, just one frame; a captivating snapshot from a lazy summer day that I want to tell.
Sometimes amidst the busyness of life, we encounter beautiful moments that are too precious to let them go away. Such was the case on a seemingly ordinary summer day when I was completely absorbed in a scene that could speak without saying anything at all. It was with one click that I made everlasting an instant that turned out to tell its own untold stories about the season.

Photography brings me so much happiness because, more often than not, I capture what most people don’t see or take heed of. As seen in this specific photo, it helps me realize how looking carefully at ordinary things leads to seeing extraordinary beauty. It stands as a reminder to look at the small things that make life beautiful.
Photography is an instrument enabling us to hold on to moments that could have otherwise been forgotten as we live in a fast-paced world. For me, this picture captures the happiness of the summer, it is like a marker in my life, and also makes me appreciate how beautiful each season can be.
I learned that inn terms of photography, one of the most vital lessons is that of patience and timing. Waiting for the best time, be it right light, expression or perfect line up, can transform a good picture into an excellent one.
The foundation of my photographic style has been these lessons in composition as I continue to explore the delicate balance between technique and creativity. Now every click is an intentional attempt to construct a visual narrative that is compelling and evocative.
Thats it for this blog!

Today I am glad to share a recent adventure that took me to the stunning Niagara Falls. Come with me as I recall the excitement of seeing this wonder of nature and trying to capture its grandeur on my camera.
Nothing can be more mesmerizing than the beauty of Niagara Falls. Standing at the edge, I was engulfed by the sound of falling waters and mist that filled the air, making it an exhilarating and humbling experience for my senses. It was a symphony of sights and sounds, which showcased how powerful Mother Nature is.

The challenges of photographing Niagara Falls were unique. The mist was persistent and the camera had to stay dry, and the changing light meant being adaptable. Among many crowds, the appropriate spots were found after a while of searching, but it was worth it because of these images I took.
Here is a photo behind the Niagara falls which was pretty meh but it was incredibly cool in person.

The experience of being near the Niagara Falls can never be fully described through photography. The sheer force of the water, the sound that resonates through your entire being, and the visual spectacle all combine to create an unforgettable sensory journey.
Today I learned that the Understanding Light and Shadows was a unit about light and shadows. Understanding light and shadow is important for creating pictures with depth and feeling. The golden hours at sunrise and sunset create a diffuse warm light that can change even the most basic scenes. On the contrary, manipulating shadows can create an atmosphere of suspense and puzzle thus making the interplay between light and darkness interesting.
While exploring the delicate balance of technique and creativity, I have come to realize that my photographic style is built on these lessons in composition. Each time I press the button, it is with a conscious intention to create a visual narrative that holds its viewers spellbound while remaining meaningful to them.

I am excited to share the story of my adventure with chasing the constantly changing skies. Let’s explore the mesmerizing splendor that bursts above us all through this incredible journey from dawn till twilight.
The magic of a sunrise, when the world awakens, is beyond words. So, I went out with my camera on a series of dawn expeditions to record the sky shifting from deep blue to warm hues of gold. Each click is a testament to how beautiful early morning hours can be when sunlight bathes everything in soft golden colors.

The skies overhead are constantly changing, and with daylight photography, they reveal various moods. I aimed at capturing the dynamic nature of daytime ranging from playful movements of clouds to lively colors of a noontime sky. Timing is everything, and it’s the combination of light and shadow that makes an ephemeral visual symphony so breathtaking.

The night sky is captivating in its own right, filled with a wide range of stars. The camera of my iPhone has been turned to the celestial marvels that abound in the moon shine or star-studded nights. Through long-exposure techniques, I have found a way to reveal a net of constellations as an attempt to give an idea of the immense universe.

This time I learned Experimenting with Depth of Field. Controlling the depth of field is an experiment, which I tried to be creative and make some things in the photograph too obvious. If I want a shallow depth of field, I can use a wide aperture to detach the subject from its background, giving it more emphasis and presenting a beautiful bokeh effect.

Let me take you again through my neighborhood’s familiar streets and the unknown parts of it through the eyes of a camera. In this blog post, I am excited to share with you how I found magic right at my doorstep, capturing everyday life in itself and wonder.
In the Streets: Some of the most amazing things happen in our ordinary corners. With my camera, I decided to explore the streets, alleys and parks that make up my daily life’s canvas.

Тake a walk through the attached photos encapsulating the charm of my neighborhood. Each image captures a moment in life, revealing beauty that often passes unnoticed in our daily commute.
The pleasure of capturing the moments near us is that we have the chance to make the faces of our community immortal. The mailman for example waves his hand and children laugh in the park. These faces and experiences are like threads that connect our shared experiences together. These are the things that leave a smile a face on both their faces which is wonderful to see.
I have learnt one important lesson that is crucial for the improvement of my photography skills in composition. This has made me appreciate how the placement of objects in a frame can change a seemingly plain sight into an interesting visual story while taking photographs of my neighborhood and other places.
The Rule of Thirds: This is the most important key principle that I now apply is the use of Rule of Thirds. Instead of placing the subject in the middle, dividing the frame into a grid containing nine equal sections helps me to locate vital parts along these lines. It achieves a sense of balance and movement that entice your eyes to scan from one corner to another.

I've recently begun a very interesting art form, photography because of my genius project. I have been fully dedicated to learning photography. In this blog post I will share the knowledge I have gained the resources that have guided me along the way, and the challenges I have encountered.
Throughout this period I have explored deeply into understanding the principles of photography. It all began with introducing myself to my camera's settings and functionalities. Honestly, I depended on the camera's manual guide to make myself familiar with the camera.
However I was learning about light exposure so, I borrowed a book from the library and it was really interesting. I also looked into the resources especially platforms like YouTube. I found great guidance in the numerous photography tutorials available on these platforms. These video tutorials played a role in helping me grasp concepts such, as composition and exposure.
One of the challenging parts was getting familiar, with my camera. I loved exploring its features and trying out options. It was truly fascinating to see how even tiny adjustments could produce very different outcomes.
During this period most of my time dedicated to learning was spent on using my camera. This experience turned out to be incredibly valuable and greatly increased my confidence in navigating the camera's settings. In my opinion it also highlighted the importance of dedicating time to understanding the aspects of photography such as exposure and different lighting techniques.
I also clicked a picture near the John Fraser creek and here it is:

Decision Making
Selecting a project for this semester's Genius Project has been a real challenge for me. Here are my options:
Learning to play the piano
Photography
I chose photography over other options. Well photography is more than just taking pictures for me. It's about storytelling, stirring feelings, and having a unique view of the world. I have often been the family photographer but now I want to take my skills to a more artistic level.
The good news is I have a good camera, a great starting point for my photography adventure. Plus there are photography courses available in my area.
To get better at photography, I'll have to do a lot of research. This means I need to learn different techniques try out editing tools, and explore various photography styles. I'll also learn how to use natural light, follow composition rules and tell interesting visual stories.
My goal for this project is to become a good photographer, taking many different kinds of pictures that tell stories. I chose photography over playing the piano because I'm more passionate about taking pictures.

First of all, coding is my thing. That is where I get my groove be it when creating websites or messing around with applications or just having fun with technology.
Gaming is not just something I do for fun; it’s like going on this wild adventure that involves strategic thinking and expertise. Indeed I have been through several virtual realities that each come with unique difficulties. Here are the games I play: Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption, Forza Horizon 5, Valorant, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and many more.
All sports have taught me discipline, team work and endurance. Whether on the court, on the field or in social settings, every sport I participate in adds a new dimension to my life, which has been contributing to personal growth and all-rounded development.
Recently, photography has become one of the things that interest me most. It was a new thing for me but I have realized it’s actually more than just a hobby – it’s something that I’ve been silently nurturing within myself for some time now.
Music now comes in. From classical tunes to rock beats, I love all kinds of music. All genres have their own feel and that’s why I am crazy about each one of them.
