To take his mind off the election stress, Luke at @customvintagekeys finally put the finishing touches on my Wurlitzer 720b mod. This rare mid-60s beast is basically a Wurli 140b built into a wooden upright piano case. Had it refinished in black, with plexi and backlighting on the action. And it sounds and plays great, of course. I have been a gigantic Van Halen fan since the 80s, but I only got to see the band live once - in Japan, of all places - during the Gary Cherone period, of all times.
