I live my life under the basic principle that people know their minds, bodies, genders, and orientations better than I do so I just take them at their word when they say they are a thing.

Could Izuku’s dad be a nomu?
*Some mild manga spoilers ahead*
I’m just getting caught up in the manga and like... So, Izuku’s quirk doctor is clearly a League villain (Kyudai Garaki) and that kid, Tsubasa, from Izuku/Bakugo’s childhood was implied to be the winged nomu in the extras...
I heard people mention that Horikoshi said Izuku’s dad is going to show up eventually, but with Midoriya senior not being mentioned (basically ever) couldn’t it be possible that it’s not a big reveal?  Or it is, but not the kind we’re expecting.
All we know about him is that his name is Hisashi, he works overseas, he has a fire-breathing quirk, and Inko/Midoriya never talk about him - not even to avoid talking about him.
Unless I missed it, the topic of his father has never been brought up outside that one time at the doctor.  It would feel weirdly out of place to just plunk father drama in the middle of everything now without a proper set-up after 300+ chapters...
What doesn’t feel out of place is the weird connection between Dr. Kyudai Garaki, Tsubasa, and their neighbourhood connections to Izuku/Bakugo.   Hisashi said in the extras that he was going to, “spell out all the details of the nomus when [he] can”, in the Tsubasa hint page... seems like he intends to address the connection and it would make sense to address Hisashi at that point too.
Maybe Hisashi was just a normal dude who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the League covered up killing him by saying he left for overseas.
Maybe his tragedy is that he tried to do something good (like save Tsubasa or something... be a hero in his own right), but he was actually killed and now everyone thinks he’s a runaway deadbeat dad.
Maybe what we get is the same thing as Tsubasa?
A fire-breathing nomu.

This is more so related to one of the above posts, but I have a great story about awful school “warm-ups” that hurt me.  Once, my PE teacher was like, “for our warm-up, we’re going to have a race, but instead of running, we’re going to do walking lunges.”
And because I’ve always been a competitive hoe when it comes to physical exercise (and I was very into Crossfit at the time), I was like, “yes - I’m going to murder you all.”
But joke was on me (and the teacher bc warm-race-lunges is an awful idea) because I proceeded to rip a muscle in my groin within the first minute so badly that I went into actual shock and couldn’t walk properly for a couple weeks.
