In the first four months...
The intention here is to float through what we have done together in the past four months. And I hope that when you read this, visually you can form fast-forward memories of the little things that make us. Sometimes, little things like these are easily taken for granted and I refuse to do so--for this reason, my hope is to celebrate the small and big wins, take a step back to think about them in order to move forward...together.
We have gone to places.
Street food (a lot). Porridge at Russian Market. Seafood near Sushi Tei where I love the raw shrimp salad, your favorite grilled Salmon fins ... the phenomenal evening snack (grilled pork belly, frog, chicken legs) near Son Thhor Mok,...pror’het jean and brain jruk jom’huy (sorry, we run out of stock..or sorry cannot buy; her excuses lead me to question whether it was fact or #AlternativeFact?)
Speaking of, we talked politics to complain, to blame, to scream, basically to filter out the frustration we had over Trump, Kellyanne Conway, and Betsy Devos. I CAN’T STAND BETSY!!!! SHE IRKS MY SOUL...
What else? Local restaurants in town. Master Grill. Kuy Teav Olympic. Also spending our very first date at Mekong Tower eating on the roof top...
One of the greatest highlights was when we were celebrating my birthday at the beach, and then had an unforgettable “hit a home run” at night (LOL). It was the first time to get out of town together, and it was the greatest birthday present. Thank you so much, Bae xxx.
Another relationship goal we have achieved is to spend many mornings chilling over at the coffee shops in Phnom Penh, reading books there and eat. We’ve gone through good movies and bad ones (Grandma is your most favorite or ... NAW! LOL).
We believe deeply in spending a routine of weekend breakfast. And it is your idea to start this. We have gone to my favorite grilled pork with rice near Sovanna for breakfast. I always make the order for us: 2 dishes of grilled pork, an extra dish of pork ribs and fried egg. We often left to Coffee Culture afterward.
Our first chat was the result of a shared interest for Pokemon Go, so we need to credit them for this love to happen. I have introduced you to Tutu to cheat on Pogo. Let’s make Instinct extinct gain and Tear Down all the Valor. Are you in this with me as long as these two gyms exist? :D
I proposed that I loved you and asked you to be my bf. Do you remember how I did it? Hint: a couple (Marry and Will) seating next to us in a restaurant...and you was given the choice to help arrange the seats :D
We have been in love and made love. We have been slowly but strongly in love. We built this feeling for each other from nothing. It is a confirmed truth that we know love once we kiss; and when that happens, we realize how much we have been missing...
Between your smiles, which I love the most, between the games we played together, between the oil massage, blind massage, the “Hip Hop” black and then ripped umbrella (LOL), between all the places we have gone to, the laughs, fights, dramas, jokes, kisses, warm hugs...................we found love.
