i'm. sorry, y'all, but holy shit the last 18 months have been. hellish. like, just, uh, here, have a brief bullet-point list:

developed extremely severe chronic migraine (started at 25+ migraine days a month)

PTSD diagnosis

family began unraveling at the seams (to the tune of like. murder.)

was going to school, had to drop classes because i was sick, then had to drop out entirely

divorcing my spouse

moved across the country

i'm doing my best and right now my best is a very small plastic trash can in the middle of a freeway that is on fire,

luckily both of my partners are currently double fisting fire extinguishers at me so like!!! we're working on it!!!

i watched the dune movies out of morbid curiosity, and then i read the first book out of the same, and now, i, uh

well, i'm reading the second book, and i also looked at ao3 and had the thought of "y'all are fuckin boring" because the primary ship is paul/feyd-rautha, and like.

paul "prophet-dictator" atreides and feyd-rautha "freaky fuckin sadist" harkonnen, who are in fact directly related cousins. shipped together. boring.

ohhhhh i have brainworms, brainworms, don't i.

so anyway i promise i am not abandoning witcher fandom or my witcher fics or any of the prompts / etc i have bUT --

i. maybe cannot promise that this is a witcher-only blog anymore. or that my ao3 is witcher-only. whoopsie daisy.

i'm dropping out of school, i'm getting a divorce, i'm plan on moving out of the hell state i live in, and i stumbled accidentally upon a med cocktail that SEEMS (🤞) to be working really well for managing the migraine fuckery

so! maybe!!! i've been writing some more, too, in the background, since i'm dropping out, so hopefully i will have stuff to post soon??? maybe??? pray for me lmao

i mean. mostly! i'm not dead yet!

but also uhhhhh. 2024 has been the longest decade of my life, friend. i developed extremely severe chronic migraine with severe psych symptoms out of mcfucking nowhere in january, in the middle of spring semester of school, and since it was out of fucking nowhere we had no! fuckin! idea! what was going on!!! we were concerned i might have a brain tumor!

so yeah i've been dealing with like 15+ migraines a month (down from 25+!) as well as working 20-32 hours a week and being a full-time student and going to therapy weekly to cope with those severe psych symptoms!
