The few details we’ve gathered suggest it was an open-world sci-fi shooter, which is the same for Destiny. I also wonder if Project Titan was similar to Destiny. A complete overhaul of the engine to increase potential for quest design and raid encounters seems like a safer bet than trying something completely new. It wouldn’t surprise me if a World of Warcraft 2 is now in development. Incremental visual updates, such as the release of new character models in the up coming Warlords of Draenor, only go so far. While its subscription numbers has fallen from the peak of 12 million subscribers down to 6.8 million, it is still the most popular MMO in the world.Īt some point, Blizzard will need to find a way to continue the Warcraft timeline, and more importantly its competitiveness in the MMO market. As fun as Duels of the Planeswalkers is, I think this game could provide a better virtual TCG experience. HEX: Shard of Fate digital trading card game is quite different from the others in.
