Hi giftee! I was so excited to see your prompt yesterday! This is a debate I've had before and know it can be high stakes, so I have to ask: is Die Hard a Christmas movie?

There once was a time when I was staunchly on team “not a Christmas movie, but a movie set around Christmas time.” My husband eventually won me over by pointing out that the plot of Home Alone isn’t about Christmas either, but no one argues about that one.

Long story short: I hate it when he’s right, and now we have a Nakatomi Plaza advent calendar in my living room.
