I have a confession to make:

I started playing Hogwarts Legacy May/June of 2024, but never went to Feldcroft until just last weekend.

I had been putting off Sebastian’s invitation to his place by grinding side quests and even managed to get to level 34 with 74% game completion. Looking back, it’s crazy how I did all that before even meeting Anne!

Well now thanks to @honeyed-blossom , I decided to progress the main story and managed to complete a few more main quests too. The whole time I kept asking myself why I didn’t do that earlier?? Poppy’s quest was my favourite!! I keep thinking about the questline even as I’m laying in bed about to sleep.

I guess the enemies were kinda squishy during battles due to the level disparity but it didn’t really matter when I’m here for the DRAMA!

My Art Then vs My Art Now 🖌️

It was May of 2024 and I had been working my current 9-5 for a year. Over the months I had scrounged up a bit of savings to finally buy myself a gaming PC, and I could finally play all the games I had been dying to play but couldn’t due to my laptop being unable to meet the requirements. One of them was Hogwarts Legacy. I had pre-purchased it before the drop back in 2023, but never had the chance to play.

I had my new gaming PC and HL downloaded, and I booted it up. I was amazed. Enamoured by the visuals. Developed a crush on Sebastian like everyone else. But I needed more, so I looked up the internet to see if anyone else is talking about this game, only to come across a few amazing creators drawing their MCs in silly comics and scenarios. I was inspired.

I immediately began to sketch out my very first MC Gwynevere. Art and drawing had always been a part of my life but by then, I had not drawn in a long time bc I grew up, and the obligations of being an adult took over. It wasn’t that great of a drawing, but I was pretty proud of myself, and was excited to post on Tumblr for the very first time (silly me even thought nobody saw my post when in fact I didn’t turn on notifications for my Tumblr app 😭).

Since then, I’ve only ever been drawing HL stuff and I can’t see myself stopping. My art has significantly improved from back then, and drawing my babies has encouraged me to experiment more. I think for now, I’m trying to anchor down on a style so that I can stay consistent.

Of course, the drawing of the trio I did isn’t my latest drawing, and even my art has improved little by little since then, but I feel like it’s a good comparison of the difference between my art then and my art now. Now of course, I still look at my art now and will have a few flaws to point out, but sometimes I think about how 2023 me would be in awe if she saw what I can draw now.

I’m so glad that I stumbled across this community, bc it has only encouraged me to to draw more and improve my art, and people in this community are so lovely 💛💛💛

He is Australian

He had to escape Australia and currently lives with his uncle in Hogsmeade

He stands at 6’4”. He is a biiiig boi

He has multiple tattoos on his body:

He is enthusiastic about dragons. Very enthusiastic

His body is filled with scars from his past in Australia, and he thinks of them as trophies

Harvey is his everything

Signups will close on 3rd August and prompts assigned shortly after. Creators will then have until 16th of September to finish their piece, at which point all submissions should be posted to Tumblr using the #garreth weasley fest #garreth weasley fest 2025 hashtags!

The ao3 collection will reveal all works on 15th September and this Tumblr page will share entries from the 2025 hashtag throughout the week.

What kind of content can I submit?

The fest will be prompt-based for both art and fics. When signing up you will be asked to submit three prompts for your fellow creators. This can be anything from a word to a scene. Full prompt rules are below the cut.
