As your resident black self shipper, here's some stuff to remember this day:

Stop using simp as a description for yourself and you faves.

Stop fetishizing your black and brown faves (stop making them hypersexual and objectified and angry all the time.)

Either write more black and brown traits into your reader inserts OR stop writing EXCLUSIVELY white traits onto your reader inserts (Or do both. Both is good.)

Artists! Erasing your faves black traits (Shrinking their nose, straightening their hair, lightening their skin) is racist !

And most importantly: Support your local black and brown self shippers.
