He lets out a soft hum as her fingers dance along his arm. Tail moving to curl around them, the bolt shaped end of his appendage lay lazily by their feet. Nodding slightly at her question, he’s mindful of the bottom of his chin brushing against the top of her skull with his action. 

“Yeah, it’s so quiet, I like when it’s like this. It shows you another side of the forest.” The normally vibrant and somewhat live woods was now silent, the very creatures who inhabited it sleeping, well… most of them. His own ears twitch, and if he focused he could easily pick out specific sounds of certain Pokémon that were nocturnal by nature waking up to go about their evening. However, the Raichu’s attention was elsewhere and she currently sat comfortably in his arms. 

“Ah…” Thor rolls his eyes up and off to the side, cheeks flushing warmly at her ending statement. It’s a good thing she can’t see his face right now. He smiles through his blush and lets out a happy sigh before giving his response.

“Plus, things are always better when sharing it with people you care about. I know I told you before but,” he pauses for a moment to hug her a bit firmly against him while tilting his head slightly so his cheek was pressed against her head as he begins to nuzzle her softly. ”I really missed you Elysia.” He missed moments like this. Just them enjoying each other’s company and relaxing. During times like these, precious moments shared between simply the two of them, he felt at peace.

After a while Thor stops rubbing his cheek against her head and straightens up, placing his chin back in its designated spot between her ears. Now he’s curious about all the things she’s been up to during their time spent away from one another.

“Sooo, how have things been with your group? Are Eva, her mate & the kids ok? How’s Gale? You should bring him with you next time, we miss him, Glitch would be thrilled. Nobody’s been giving you any trouble right?”

There’s always been this warm blanket of security whenever Thor would hold her close. A protection and comfort that even all the members of her group had never provided. And when his hug is accompanied by the way his tail wraps around her? Well, she’s far too ecstatic. Her tail bobs happily back and forth before she calms it down. Not wanting to accidentally swat him with it. Instead she angles it around herself so she can rest it atop his own.

But it’s the faint nuzzle, the comment of how much he missed her, that causes her to feel so much warmer. It’s a good thing she’s facing the other way cause Thor would undoubtedly notice how red her face just got.

                                   “ I missed you also, Thor-dear. ”

          “Life is just so dull when you’re not around. And you always make me so happy.”

It’s true. She loved her group. Despite the obvious flaws in many of their logic, their fear of outsiders, and more. She may still have lots of problems -- the group still hated Gale, a majority anyway, and she was often forced to fend for herself. Unless Eva was able to watch him. But aside for the ‘bad moments’ she still was fond of them. But Thor? he was different. She always felt so at ease with him. Like she could tell him anything.

The nuzzling is met with her leaning her head up closer. And when the nuzzling stops and Thor just settles his chin there she closes her eyes and sinks back more into him. Focusing more on him right now than the stars and moon. Instead listening as he asks a few questions about how things are going in her life.

“Eva and her family are all okay. Lively as ever. Gale has gotten a bit bigger. He’s starting to realize he’s not a Pichu. But he’s still too young for that talk--” Mostly she was worried about how she’d tell him and what he’d think about knowing he was a ‘predator’ that her group spoke on frequently. “-- But he’s been asking if we can see you soon. And I’m sure he’s missed you. He really does look up to and admire you.” That baby Spearow. Always wanting to talk about Thor and asking her if she thought Thor would find certain things cool. Like days prior where he jumped up and caught a fruit and excitedly asked her if Thor would be impressed. He definitely looked up to the Raichu. Which, in her eyes, was good. If Thor was his role model she’d support it. “And me? Well, the usual. Still not many of the group are supporting poor Gale and myself. So I have to make sure I gather myself enough for the both of us. But Eva has been helping out. She’s actually nest-sitting Gale and her Pichu right now.”

      Eva may be hyperactive, talkative, and always gossipy. But she was a good friend.

“And what about you, Thor-dear? How have you been these days? Have you been training? Going off on lots of adventures? Is Glitch doing well?” Her questions are met with her turning her eyes up back towards the sky finally. “And we need to do this more often. Sitting like this. It’s nice.”

  Elysia had been aware of his approach. His very scent and the familiarized electric sensation causes her fur to stand on end happily. But she doesn’t let herself show she’s aware of him. The smaller chu wanted to see what he’d do. Was he gonna try and scare her? Tackle her? Give her a shock? A myriad of possibilities drifts through her mind as sensitive ears hear the grass crunch softly under his feet as he draws closer.

   But, though not too much to her surprise, he settles down behind her and merely hugs her.

                           Now that? That was better than the other options.

   Almost instantly she grins. A typical reaction when Thor was near. And she rests arms atop his own around her middle. Scooting herself back more against his front as she feels his chin getting comfy on the spot between her ears. Which only prompts her elongated ears to twitch and rise up to press against his cheeks.

    “Are you here to watch the moon and stars also?” An inquisitive look is given , though she can’t see him given he’s behind her, as smaller fingers playfully pat his arms around her middle. “It’s always so peaceful this time of night, don’t you think? And I like it more now that you’re here also.”

The sparks between them die down as his cheeks get squished, Thor smiles through the action and laughs lightly. He gives her smaller frame one last squeeze before relaxing his grip, allowing her to wriggle free from his hold whenever she chose. Instead he tilts his head down a bit focuses on her face, cheeks still being pressed inward. 

“Ah thanks, same to you! Hehe, don’t say that Elysia, if you let me keep hugging you like this, I promise I’ll never let you go.” He gives her middle a playful squeeze after his statement but still keeps his grip loose despite the words. If it was one thing that was always sure to get the bigger mouse’s attention it was to mention food, his tail starts to wiggle behind him quickly as a broad grin stretches across his muzzle.

“Oh! You did? What kind?”

    “ Really? Do you really promise that ? ” Don’t encourage her, Thor. She’ll end up sleeping on your face again. The playful squeeze only prompts her cheeks to spark once more. Stubby fingers continue their ministrations to his cheeks. Rubbing small circles into the orange fur and yellow electrical sacs there. Elysia missed her favorite person. And seeing that familiar grin at the mentioning of food prompts a warmth from within her.

       “ I got a bunch of different ones. We had extras. So I figured you deserved them. “

    Despite her own objections, not wanting to leave his embrace, she wiggles herself free. Landing on all fours as she darts into some nearby bushes. Only returning seconds later dragging a large leaf full of berries of various types. Picking one up she turns to face him and gently lifts it up to poke it towards his nose.

    “I know you’re one of the strongest fighters I’ve met. So I got you some berries to help keep you energized and feel better.” A large grin crosses her face as she puffs her chest out somewhat in pride. “And if anyone tries to steal your berries I’ll give ‘em what-for!”

His tail wiggles and bobs at the gentle touch, long ears perked high on his head. The second he’d heard that all too familiar giggle and felt the familiar pull of her electrical energy in the air Thor was already on high alert, his entire frame tingling with joy.

He turns around slowly with a fond grin, smile large and wide as it practically splits his face. Thor steps forward and gathers the shorter chu in his arms, practically crushing her against his frame. He lowers his head, and smashes his yellow cheek sac against her red one, causing sparks to shoot up between them as the Raichu affectionately nuzzles her.

“Elysia! I’ve missed you!”

    Being scooped up so easily prompts the smaller chu to let out loud peals of laughter. Accompanied with it her tail vigorously wagging from left to right. She returns the nuzzle just as happily. The sparks shared between them making the air light up with electricity. After a few seconds of flailing she  attempts to wrap her shorter arms around him ( but fails given her size ) so she just clutches him as tightly as she can.

    “ I’ve missed you also! You look wonderful as always, dear! ” After a few seconds she lifts her shorter arms up and promptly presses smaller hands to his cheeks. Giving his face a playful ‘squish’ as she does so. “I missed your hugs and more! I picked some fruit to share with you also!”

       A soft giggle would escape her as she peeks out from behind the nearby tree. Tail wagging gently back and forth as cheeks spark gleefully upon the sight of the taller chu. And then, after a few seconds of very non-subtle giggling, she’d reach her front right paw out and gently poke his tail.

             it’s been months. but this blog is going to be brought back to full activity soon. i gained a ton of muse for this pika and once i get some more icons done and tweak some things here elysia will be back properly.

     You don’t have to tell her twice! The sopping wet Pikachu practically bolts towards him. Skidding inside the much dryer area. Once out of the rain she proceeds to shake herself rapidly. Causing her fur to completely puff up and leaving her looking much ‘fluffier’ than normal. With a happy smile, plus now free from the rain, she jumps right onto him and proceeds to give his face a bunch of Pika-nuzzles.

     “ I don’t get it. ” A small irritable huff is heard escaping her lips from where she’s sitting in the grass after having pulled herself from the river.  A few moments prior she had been drinking. peacefully minding her business. When, from out of nowhere, he popped up yelling ‘BOO!’. Which wouldn’t have been too bad, considering. But she had pretty much got so surprised she jumped right into the river. Now here she stands. Soaking wet, fur puffed up, and cheeks slightly tinged a shade of red in embarrassment as she shocks herself to dry off.
