Hi DMC Anon has a face now! Yes I will keep playing! Well, I'll have to finish some other games I had on hold first, but I will return eventually to finish the series. The first game was an interesting experience so I'm looking forward to how the others decide to go from here.

dmc anon back again, I know it's been uh... 3 months? Yeah I had to pause the playthrough bc I had to finish my art degree. Anyway I officially finished it and dmc 1, If I never see another griffon as long as I live I'll be happy (flying enemies are the bane of my existence in every game). The Ghost Ship was the most old school this game has ever felt for me, it's just something about it that gives me nostalgia for early 2000's. I wish I had something more coherent to say but I kinda just rushed through it in like 3 days once I was free of responsibilities. Camera angles are my new worst enemy. Anyway I uh didn't want to just disappear into the ether without an update so...yeah.

the more time passes the more I hope Big Finish gets Archie Panjabi for some Rani stuff, let her escape CGI Omega and go wild. She was so good, it's criminal RTD killed her off.

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

You can really tell RTD worked heavily on Reality Wars. Cause he had Ruby say full chest “I wanted to say thank you, because it could’ve been so much worse.”

To the conservative fantasy world that had every disabled person homeless, that forced women to be housewives and stay at home moms, that literally erased trans people as shown by Rosie’s re-appearance, and that is so anti-queer it’s stifling.

You’re not subtle RTD, and neither are you Disney for green lighting it.

see any other time I'd be happy, I genuinely think a good writer can do some intriguing stuff with Billie Piper as the Doctor. RTD unfortunately no longer counts as a good writer so I trust him with nothing
