anyway, i'm falling for this man i have known for a week now (ik it's too fast) he's cute, hard working, hot and generous type of person. he's good at everything, as far as i know. however, i've been noticing that everytime i message him regarding on how i feel about him in certain circumstances, he just avoided the question and saying "sorry". it feels not sincere at all. i'm starting to guess what am i gonna do when we continue this.

i am not demanding him everything due to his insecurities but i feel ick and disappointed for something like this. idk, tumblr it hurts my feelings. this is the first time i spoke with a man after 6 months because i can't deal with their tricks and being nonchalant. masarap umibig pero ang hirap tumaya kasi im expecting the possibilities it won't work after all. nakakapagod pero gusto ko muli maranasan paano ako malambing at bigyan ng assurance sa lahat. nap-praning lang ako hahaha. i guess i have to go with the flow until it ends.

Oh this is cool. Many of the backgrounds in Sonny Boy were painted by hand. Very unusual for an anime from 2021. The director (Shingo Natsume) said he wanted a certain nuance in the colors you don't get digitally.

The color choices themselves are also really interesting. The art director (Mari Fujino) said she deliberately chose inverse colors to create a sense of anxiety. Check out the tension between the floor and the chalkboard here:

There's a lot of interesting qualities to the art direction (and general direction) of Sonny Boy. It's been fun revisiting it and diving in to some behind the scenes stuff.
