"This fundraiser is an emergency fund for the bond release of my mother, Khadijah A. Hall. She is currently imprisoned, wrongfully convicted of an assault felony in which she did not commit, and instead is a victim of her situation. However, the narrative was flipped to paint her as the perpetrator of the incident, and very suddenly without warning she was taken from us and transported to the Harris County jail on Monday, March 4th, 2024. She is 42 years old, and is a mother of three, including myself, two of which are on the Autism Spectrum (one is 8 years old, the other is 22) and need consistent care and support from her. Me and my family currently live in a small home with my grandparents, and our financial situation is very poor at the moment. We have no other ways off acquiring my mother’s bail which is $3,000, and we fear heavily for her safety and wellbeing as she has never been arrested nor been to any jail of any kind. She has never had a criminal record whatsoever, nor has she ever put herself or anyone else in any form of danger. She is no threat to anyone, but is being handled similarly to a murderer or robber. Instead, my mother has consistently been a caretaker and loving spirit, only doing good by others and has never failed to show compassion and sincere respect and concern for those around her whether a stranger or family member. Again, this fund will be used to pay her bond of $3,000 as soon as possible so she can be freed and brought home where she belongs."

This woman has taken such amazing care of my friend and I can't stand to hear about how much she is suffering each day in a place that she doesn't belong and surrounded by people who have genuinely committed crimes. I've heard her story and my friend's story and I genuinely hope that people here online are able to spare even a repost to help my friend and their amazing mother out.

My heart goes out to Khadijah, I hope her family is able to collect the money they need soon to get her back home where she is safe and with her kids.
