Ashton Delilah is with Denise Shepherd and Donnie Shepherd. I love my Momma & Daddy so very very much and have been so very worried about them. If y’all will... please send up prayers for my Daddy... he’s been back in the hospital another week with multiple issues to do with his heart and oxygen levels that the doctors can’t seem to get under control or regulate. Thankfully he and Momma got to come home last night. Send prayers for Momma too as she’s been right at his side and is suffering with a broken shoulder. They are both trying so hard to follow every guideline, instructions and regimen the doctors have given them for the best results possible at home. They both need healing and strength only God can supply. Ike Tyre and Margarette will fly with Pilots for Christ from Meridian to Houston’s MD Anderson. Ike and Margarette are both experiencing some health problems and need our prayers. Ike is looking for answers from the doctors at MDA. Aubrey English and Judy fly home this afternoon after a few days of test and treatment at MDA. We hope to share an update on Aubry later this week. Update on Tim Tasker by Ashley Tasker Tim is beginning his second week of radiation at MD Anderson. He had a brain scan this afternoon due to the fact that this type of cancer normally jumps to the brain. Surgery will be on February 25th at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Until then, she is looking forward to some rest and much needed fun over winter break next week. Papa Charlie is back in the air this morning flying Aubry English to Houston’s MD Anderson. Aubry has been battling Esophageal Cancer and was in remission. Doctors will be looking at Aubrey’s progress. Kay Myers from Daphne will also be flying this morning. Kay will begin a new Clinical Trial. Ashley Tasker has been with her husband Tim Tasker in Houston. Pilots for Christ will provide Ashley a ride home to Fairhope in the return flight. Next, Donna Presley from Perdido will fly late this afternoon with Pilots for Christ to Mayo in Jacksonville, FL. Doctors discovered a tumor on Donna’s Adrenal Gland. They will be studying it’s progress and making preparations to remove it. Please take the time to pray for Aubry, Ashley, Donna, and their families. Wheels up at 10:30AM. Georgia’s Prayer Warriors The recent scans (from two weeks ago) detected a small nodule in Georgia's lung. Many specialists have consulted and agree that it may be nothing, possibly just inflammation. However, the nodule is more pronounced from last scans. Coupled with the fact that Georgia has already had reocurracne of cancer, everyone hesitates to just "watch" it rescanning in a two months. After much prayer and discussion within our family over the weekend, we've decided that removing it is the safest option. It will be biopsied after it is removed because a needle biopsy (due to it's size & location) isn't possible before going in. The surgery date still is to be determined. As gut wrenching as this is for our family, we are clinging to hope in God's mercy and healing. The nodule could be gone next week, meaning no surgery needed. Papa Charlie is in the air today flying Judy Bowman to Houston’s MD Anderson. Judy has several tumors that are attached to her liver. Doctors are injecting each tumor with a specialized chemo in hopes of shrinking and eventually killing the cancer. Judy will return home this afternoon. Stick Outlaw is feeling good after having surgery to remove a tumor several days ago at MDA. Stick will flying home with Pilots for Christ this afternoon. Update from Beth Nader Needing my prayer warriors! Want to give all an update from a CT scan I had Jan 15th and a pet scan I had done last week. One year out from my adrenal cancer diagnosis we found one small tiny new lung nodule. Abdomen/pelvis still all clear! We still don’t know 100% what this is but possibly a single met from my adrenal cancer. I don’t want to sit back and wait so we are going in for surgery to remove it next week! Surgery will be Feb 21st at Mobile Infirmary. Having a thoracotomy. Prayers this is benign and not cancer!
