Doctor in Argentina convicted and sentenced for refusing to perform an abortion
- Woman (19) was sexually assaulted
- Tried to have a medication abortion at 22 weeks, long past the point when medication abortions are supposed to work. The drugs were given to her by a local pro-abortion groupÂ
- She had severe complications with an infection and went to the hospital asking them to complete the abortion.
- The doctor told her that he could treat her infection and wait to deliver the baby by C-section at 35 weeks. She, her mother, social workers, and everyone else who was involved in her case agreed this was the best course of action.
- The baby was safely delivered at 35 weeks and placed with an adoptive family.Â
- A public official who is a known pro-abortion activist accused the doctor of “failure to fulfill the duties of a public official” and prosecuted him. Even though the mother of the child was safe, healthy, and had agreed to the doctor’s suggested course of treatment that saved her and her baby.
tl;dr: This woman almost died from a botched abortion, a doctor saved her and her baby, and then the doctor was convicted of the “crime” of not finishing the job by killing the baby.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
My best friend's mom is having a severe neurological illness. They are having a very hard time. This friend of mine came to my home 5 minutes after I called her to tell her that my husband had passed (she closed her bakery and came home without hesitation). her youngest son is our godchild. I love her and her family so much and it breaks my heart to see her so bad. Please pray for her mother (her name is Laura) and for her family as well. They need it.

In a controversial ruling, an Iraqi court has decreed that a Christian mother, Elvin Joseph, along with her three children, convert to Islam. The decision was based on the interpretation of Iraq’s Personal Status Law which mandates that children must adopt Islam if one of their parents converts.
Joseph, a resident of Duhok in the Kurdistan Region, found herself entangled in this legal predicament following the revelation of her mother’s conversion to Islam after her divorce and subsequent remarriage to a Muslim man.
“I am Christian,” Joseph asserted in an interview with Rudaw Media Network. “I am married to a Christian man. I have three Christian kids. My education was in our language. All my official documents are Christian. Our marriage is registered by the church.”
Pray for her and her children.
