about a week ago i found this in a goodwill, one of those “grow in water” toys but

we do need to revisit the wording of "you can't have your cake and eat it too" because i don't think it clearly enough conveys that it's more that you can't simultaneously retain a cake and also get to consume it (which would render you cakeless). for years i was like But why not....it's my cake....?

My coworker asked me a question about Queer culture the other day and it was a really good question but I couldn’t think of a polite way to tell them that they didn’t have the foundational knowledge required to support full comprehension of the answer

i know we've beat this horse to death on samblr dot com but it's still wild when i remember that people say dean is the repressed one and sam is emotionally available. dean has friends and cries in non-life or death situations and tells people when he's upset. not in great ways, but still. sam only sheds a tear when lucifer is about to rip him in half, or his friends just got brutally murdered. when he's upset, he gets a thousand yard stare and trembles like the world's prettiest weg rag of a man. sam mentioned that he still thought about jess in s15 and the last time dean heard her name was when sam wanted to kill brady a full decade ago. no one is doing emotional repression like sam winchester and no one ever should.
