now that she's had her introduction, let's make way for some event information, shall we?

though strelitzia has forgotten things, her chirithy still recalls her memories for her. it's okay; they were made for this sort of situation, and since her heart is so fragile... they can only assume this was fated to happen eventually.

she's forgotten someone important to her; she remembers the face of the one she pined for, but...

lauriam, her brother and one of the only people dear to her, is nothing but a void in her memory.

due to this, she's become convinced that she died alone, with nobody she could call herself "familiar" to ; as such, her heart is much more susceptible to darkness, and the grief of being unable to recall something that she's certain is so important to her is eating away at her.

should this become a true problem that puts the light of her heart in danger, her chirithy may step in and help to remind her of things; but, due to his lack of abilities, he may be unable to truly help her.

consider this an open invitation to plot if you're interested in writing with strelitzia for the event! like this if you want me to approach to plot something out, and i'll try to get back to you ASAP.

Coming to understand the ebb and flow of a new world when you have just barely found yourself whisked away from your own is always difficult; there is never ease to your step, never confidence following you where you walk. 

Assuredly, this would be the case for Strelitzia, too.

Though she would find herself accompanied by her Chirithy, the unfamiliarity of Spirale always stuck with her, and her heart — though ever-presently beating, a reminder of her life, her connection to the very light within her — could never find home here, no matter how hard she tried the first time and likely times to come.

Lost in her thoughts, she would never have noticed the silhouette painting the pavement  — but her Chirithy, more attentive and more there than she ever could say she was, lets out a startled yell at the sight, surprising Strelitzia and stopping her in her tracks.

After an uncertain exchange with Chirithy, Strelitzia turns on her heel immediately and runs to the man’s side, kneeling beside him. Her voice cracks when she finally attempts to speak, but —

“H — Hey! Are you alright?! Can you hear me?!”

in a new place, in a new world, some might fight back against their fate and go on a destructive rampage; others may use this new experience to explore and learn about their circumstances; and similarly, some might have found comfort and solace in this mysterious new land, filled with mysterious new people. for most who had been in these shoes, a wide variety of different reactions would have been normal. it would have been normal to react at all.

it was unclear whether or not the city of spirale had ever dealt with a newcomer who had done nothing but lay face down on the cobblestones outside his housing, cheek against the rock, one hand by his head, the other twisted uncomfortably under his own body. he was not moving, cold and pale- looking far more like a mannequin or a corpse than a living human.

in fact,

was he living? there were no signs that the man on the pavement was naught but a dead body. it was an eerie, unnatural sight. had this strange galaxy made a mistake- pulled a corpse from the dirt instead of a living being?

a very, very kind girl whose presence is said to light up a room

you know marluxia? that’s her brother! he’s been changed beyond recognition, though...

shy and pretty anxious. like, really anxious.

she’s trying really hard, though -- she wants to become strong enough to carry her brother on her back! ♡

there’s someone she admired, but... she’s not sure if she’ll ever see them again. she can only hope that they were more courageous than her.

strelitzia’s presence during the soiree is a lot more noticeable; someone who would have melted into the wall at a dance any other time, she can now be found socializing and dancing around without a care in the world.

her mask gives her courage; consider it a “what could have been.” strelitzia is a bloomed dandelion, a union leader, a keyblade wielder with the strength to protect everyone who raised their shield for her. she “holds the strength to carry others”, you could say!

she looks similar, but more... worn by adventure. clothing more well-suited for fighting the darkness, a silly, lopsided grin, a thirst to dive headfirst into the offense. 

when she takes to the skies, her wings are large but manageable. they take the form of angel wings, shaped by a future she’s yet to see.

this is her first mask! and things may be... different if you catch her at a later point into the soiree.

            ♡ ⋆｡˚ ❀       ANTI STRELITZIA

this “strelitzia” received a trick mask, and... it’s honestly debatable if she’s truly herself anymore after it’s melted away.

darkness folds around her hands and follows her step, and though she looks the same, her eyes are a bright, searing yellow and her hair seems to be losing its color.

this is “darkness”, by name -- a primordial entity, once whole, whose identity had split into multiple beings. they’re known for possessing the bodies of those with weaker hearts, and were the very same entity responsible for strelitzia’s death! :)

“I... hope everyone’s doing okay back home. I hope they’re happy.” It’s soft, quiet, almost inaudible. “I wonder how long it’s been... Chirithy, do you think the world really did end?”

Strelitzia’s heart is aching, today, and so does the heart of the Chirithy. He only sighs, and nestles into her lap without answering. They’ll be sad together.
