Did you 3D model the gun borros has? Or did you draw it yourself? The perspective is really good!! :D

I would do that if I could but krita can't do that...

It was a 3d model I found in the assets of clip studio! I absolutely have yet to study/gain the skills of drawing guns yet 😭

I'm not sure how to articulate this so I hope you can bear with me. I discovered your art at a moment of my life where I was so fed up and upset by mainstream art, even queer art, even furry art, for designs being so incredibly generic, centered around thin, white characters. And then I saw your art and character designs and it felt a whole world opened for me. Not only is there artists who draw people who look like me, but there's people who love those designs, who find them attractive, worth look draw and look at. It was such a fresh air and made me so much comfortable in my body and gender presentation. So I'd like to thank you for that !

WELL!!! I’m not shaking and boohooing first thing in the morning!! This is an incredibly sweet message and you articulated it so well.

I’ve definitely felt similar frustrations. Back in the very early 2010s, when I’d take live model classes, I was very frustrated by the lack of body diversity and not knowing how to draw anything beyond the very small bodies presented to us.

I would not say there were many art tutorials in 2010 showcasing how to draw fat bodies, or features beyond white ppl so I kinda had to figure out a lot on the fly and I’m still continuing to learn even now but yeah! a lot of what of my art is is from the frustration of not seeing what I wanna see, so I gotta make it!

I never could have imagined that there would be people who would feel comforted by what I draw, or feel seen and things like that. I could cry! Thank you so much for this message it made me go through a roller coaster of emotions !! :D
