My life has been changed through the love of Christ. Pink Eden is a reflection of that love as I continue to grow in God. Here lies my journey, my truths, my pains, my pleasures and my passions.
Kingdom come. What does that even mean? Of course I have purpose for naming this blog KINGDOM COME. The title inspiration is from the world’s most recognized prayer; The Lord’s Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13. In Matthew 6, Jesus is teaching the disciples about prayer. Specifically, prayer do’s and dont’s. He then gives the disciples insight on how and what to pray for. The prayer appears simple when merely reading it but there is so much revelation and jewels in these few verses. I’m going to kick off with a mini -series on the Lord’s Prayer. We’ll take it verse by verse. We’ll get back to the Kingdom come inquiry eventually. Sooner than later. I hope. possibly. We’ll see. Hahahaha.
9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
My name is De. I’m 24. I’m a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. You’ll learn more about me along the way, and so will I. The label I identify the most with is daughter. Yeah, I’m the offspring of my mom and dad, blasé blasé. However, my relationship as a daughter to my Heavenly Father, far surpasses any natural relationship that I’ve ever been engaged in. That’s right, I’m a Christian! I’m sure you have plenty of opinions and observations of we “Christians” and that’s fine. I’m not here to change that. I just want to share the thoughts I’ve been collecting in my head over the years. I just want to ask the questions that a lot of us have but can’t seem to find the answers to. I just want to help some one out there struggling with their identity to find it in Christ. I just want to show God that I love and care about his people.
