On the weekend I got the catch to make some slow cooked ribs for the family and me. And got to see a birds of prey show. I always loved owls since I was a little boy, but have never had the chance to see one so close up. It was a really neat experience. But no they wouldn't let me keep it as a pet. #birdsofprey #dutchoven #cooking #weekend

Last night I joined an axe throwing league down at Bury The Hatchet in St.Catherines. It was alot of fun and not an intense competition. Just a friendly environment. Was lucky enough to win my frist 4 games out of 5. Took alot warm up to get the distance and strength right for that heavy an axe. Use to more of the tomahawks from Rover moots. And after everyone went for a drink. I finally got to try a beer from the oast Brewery in Niagara on the Lake. Nice hoppie taste. Ps if you haven't had a catch to try axe or knife throwing, well it's a great evening of after work event. Fun for dates or even solo.
