hi again!! i remember seeing some of your EAH posts and how you grouped the OB boys as Royals/Rebels and was wondering if you ever did the same for the rest of the main cast? if not i would love to see what you think about the other boys (tho ik that’s a lot of characters to consider so no sweat!)
[ EAH x TWST posts: part 1 / part 2 / part 3 / part 4 ]
It was actually the dorm leaders, not the OB boys I already assigned
… Fuck it, we ball 😎
Note: In my version of this AU, the Mirror of Darkness (or whatever RSA/NBC's equivalents of this are) spells out the fairy tale fates of each student. Their fates generally mirror their respective Disney character's fate. (If the Disney characters isn’t obvious, then assume some supporting role across various tales. For example, Jack can be the wolves from various films.) However, the Disney characters themselves still exist in their world as historical figures and are seen as heroic beings separate from their fates. For example, the King of Beasts is still seen as a great king who won the crown through his merit and united different animals in the savanna; when the Mirror of Darkness tells Leona he's destined to kill his brother and turn his country into a barren wasteland, this ISN'T understood to be what the King of Beasts did. In other words, we're keeping the twisted history of Twst but just assigning miserable fates to many of the boys.
I mostly discuss the students ahead but to quickly touch on NRC staff!! They’re the adults holding up the system (especially Crowley, as the headmaster), so I think that technically classifies them as Royals. There may be some slight variation (like Crewel being a Rebel as a student but then mellowing out as he grows ip and coming to terms with his fate).
Okay, and now the students:
Riddle — Royal; he is used to following the rules and authority, be it his mother’s or the school’s, laws, etc. Riddle is generally inflexible in his thinking and reluctant to challenge or to defy the status quo. The ending for AiW is vague and doesn’t actually define a bad ending for the Queen, so Riddle can probably believe that, by staying in line, he can find a happy ending for himself. Even post-book 1, Riddle has trouble learning to step outside his comfort zone or even to speak out against his mom.
Trey — Royal; he's Riddle's right-hand man in many ways and helps temper his anger + manage the dorm. Trey also acts very resigned when Riddle is banned from seeing him again + Riddle's collaring many students, not really able to stand up or rebel until Riddle is finally losing his grip on reality.
Cater — Royal; he also went along with carrying out basically all of Riddle's orders in book 1 + helps smooth things over socially in the dorm.
Ace — Rebel; he's fine playing the role of a card soldier, but he thinks marching in line is so boring!! He'd rather do his own thing. Plus, his rebellious attitude towards figures of authority naturally lands him in trouble.
Deuce — Rebel; he tries hard to be a Royal, but often fails in its conventions. Slips back into his rebellious ways at times and still gets roped into shenanigans with Ace.
Leona — Rebel; he would be extremely bitter that Falena is guaranteed a happy ending just because he was born first whereas Leona is doomed to destroy his country and then be killed off. He’d be more desperate than ever to demonstrate his worth and write a new future for himself. I imagine he rallies other students unhappy with their destinies around his cause.
Ruggie — Rebel; bro struggled and clawed to survive for this long, there’s not way he’s going to lie down and just accept his fate—there’s people back home counting on him. Follows Leona’s lead at first because they’re put in general proximity of each other’s destinies but soon learns his power might make it possible for both of them to turn the world upside down.
Jack — Royal; he’s the moral compass of Savanaclaw, often telling peers (even upperclassmen) off when they play foul. Jack has a noble soul and innocently believes if you work hard and do good things, you’ll earn a happy ending.
Azul — Royal (or so he claims; more of a Rebel in his actions); he’s plays the part of someone who has accepted his fate, but is secretly working behind the scenes to find a loophole or a way to steal someone else’s destiny. Uses his contracts to take things from others, believing he is better preparing himself to defy his own fate down the line. Very Duchess Swan-coded.
Jade — Rebel; creates chaos through enabling it. I’d imagine he doesn’t care for being zapped into nothing.
Floyd — Rebel; his attitude matches, but also he uh… doesn’t want to be fried unagi.
Kalim — Royal; super privileged and sheltered. He knows what his and Jamil's fates are, but naively believes "No way would my childhood friend forever after Jamil betray me!!"
Jamil — Royal (though not by choice); due to the Vipers’ relationship with the Asims, Jamil isn’t exactly allowed to rebel against the expectations placed on him. While he’s forced to serve Kalim as a dutiful servant, he can’t wait for the day to backstab him. Jamil is sort of also arrogantly believing he can somehow fight or override his fate and come out on top (since he is shown to believe too much in his own abilities while also looking down on others' abilities).
Vil — Rebel; he breaks gender norms and works hard to defy type casting within the entertainment industry. Fighting his own envy every single day, not wanting to let it make him ugly.
Rook — Royal; the queen’s loyal huntsman. He is deeply devoted to supporting Vil (and Neige), finding Vil’s determination beautiful but the purity of Neige’s enticing enough for a betrayal.
Epel — Rebel; the poison apple never asked to be this way, and neither did Epel. He makes a fuss when Vil orders him around and often finds he has to conform in order to get some peace—but behind Vil’s back, Epel cuts loose.
Idia — Royal, later turns into Rebel; he starts off pretty dejected and resigned (hence why he acts gloomy and closed off; why bother trying if it all ends in the same thing anyway). The events of book 6 give him the kick in the pants Idia needed to try again.
Ortho — Royal, later turns into Rebel; once an android only existing to play support for Idia, be gains sentience and uses that free will to write his own story.
Malleus — Royal; as crown prince, a nation is looking to him to act out his destiny so that they may thrive too. I also feel like his immense power might make him overly arrogant + believe he can defeat any hero. (Book 7’s conflict might challenge these beliefs, of course.) His UM also promotes stasis, or the state of things not changing—because Malleus fears change. It’s safer in this bubble of his own making.
Lilia — Royal to Rebel; he no longer believes in the old conventions of human vs fae and tries to promote peace. I think it would be interesting if this whole time Lilia was lying to Silver about his destiny. Like Lilia somehow convinces Silver his destiny is to be a hero like Lilia (his adopted father) was, while hiding the true destiny of his blood-related father, which is to kill his liege.
Silver — Royal (but sort of Rebel once he learns The Truth); dutifully serves Malleus and wants to repay his father. Maybe he later freaks out and loses sense of himself when he learns his real fairy tale fate (the same as the Dawn Knight’s, not Lilia’s) is to slay Malleus.
Sebek — Royal; dutifully serves Malleus and looks up to him. Maybe he was raised (at least in this AU) to believe that Malleus’s eventual sacrifice is the most noble thing ever.
Yuu — Rebel; I think Yuu could technically be anything you want them to be, but considering the theme of the game, Rebel makes the most sense here. After all, they’re trying to help these trouble students learn an alternate path to conflict resolution.
Grim — Rebel; this guy broke into Ramshackle, tried to steal your uniform, caused property damage… all in the name of enrolling when he’s already been told multiple times he can’t. Yup, that’s rebellious alright.
Neige — Royal; pure, innocent. Probably dense and unaware of Vil’s demise or sees it as something that can’t be helped. Maybe he sees it all as another performance they’re putting on and doesn’t understand the full gravity of it.
Seven Dwarves — Royal; just a troupe of little supporting characters for Neige.
Chenya — ???; similar to Kitty Cheshire, no one knows what Chenya truly is. After all, at times he helps out the Rebels (like telling them about Trey’s connection to Riddle), but at other times he’s fitting what is expected of his fairy tale fate.
Rollo — Royal; carried by pure spite, he seeks to carry out his plan to rid Twisted Wonderland of magic and then go out in a blaze.
Fellow — Rebel; he broke free of his employer’s grasp and now roams, doing whatever he likes, even if he doesn’t have a lot of money.
Gidel — Rebel; same reasons as Fellow.
Skully — Royal to Rebel; he started off with a stringent idea of Halloween but eventually opens his mind. Goes on to spread this all over the world.

Helloooo!!!!
Fanart of @ihavetoomanyfictionalcrushes Where the boys are housewife, if they follow me in Tiktok they will know that these two jobs have been ready for a long time, only that it gave me laziness translating them to English hehe.
I had another idea for Vil, however it did not come out as I wanted, I would like to do it but I don't know if you do, we'll see.
In addition to another idea for Riddle as a housewife but that if I think I will not do it sorry.
I took the freedom to do to Idia too, someone in a group asked me and gave me the idea that I did it.
Idia as a housewife who in his free time does streams, would be funny.
I also wanted to clarify some little things.
I do not think I update soon, not why I do not want but why I have many ideas and I do not know what to do or how to start and I am someone who stresses quickly so I get efficient in something and it does not come out as I want I will frustrate me and I will not be able to draw, So I'll take my time.
The AU of Oiran will be updated when the illustrations end, the chapter is already written only that I am having problems with the drawings.
In addition to other ideas that I have either for Twst as original and also other games and fandoms.
so apologize anything.
Excuse me any English translation error, it is not my first language and I have not worked very much.

Your fetish doesn’t have to be praxis.
Read that sentence. Read it again. Really drill it into your skull. Internalize the idea until it cannot be removed from your brain.
Then stop making really annoying discourse posts on why this or that kink is WrongBad or how everyone with it is WrongBad and start caring more about how this person treats others outside of a consensual kink context. You’re allowed to hate a kink because of how much it resembles real life issues you suffer with, but other people are going to engage in it whether you like it or not and the only reasonable thing you can ask of them is to not involve you or anyone else who doesn’t want to be a part of it.
And before “three guesses on what kink OP has” if you don’t know me, you’re probably wrong and about to make yourself look like an ass by making assumptions. Go ahead, test your luck, I dare you.
