Hello! I was wondering if during all the history of takarazuka, you know of actresses/ past actresses that have been performing with female impersonators or drag queens? And if it is common for the general public in Japan to make a link between takarazuka and the drag world?

Hello! I am afraid I do not have much expertise on this question. My instinct is that the general public does not connect Takarazuka with drag at all.

I’ve recently discovered the world of Takarazuka and I fell in love with BADDY from the moon troupe!

So I thought I’d give tumblr a try again after a few years and share my art here. All the costumes are amazing I just HAVE to draw them!! This is my fanart of Manaki Reika as Detective Goody for a start. Hopefully more characters are coming soon ~
