21/21 WIN!!!! The final win before the exam on Sat! And like what Grace, my mentor, mentioned - #birthdaypips! This one was taken when Sensei (Orange Roshan, the founder) was giving an USU Master Class. Just like I observed in my backtest, these kinda move will complete the next day or 2 days later when it’s ranging.

This third loss occurred because I refused to wait for one more day hahahaha! Again! Patience is really my biggest enemy here. And also because the range for that day was huge, it made me more impatient. I know I can get more pips and that also meant waiting a whole lot longer. BUT NOOOO!!!... I had to be impatient and took the trade anyway. But luckily, learning from the previous trade loss, I took the other direction when it activated without fear and made some minor pips. Even though it was just a less than 100 pips, I know they’re what I call the ‘gratefulness’ pips. I can’t complain much. I still made some that day according to the system.

The second trade loss was a ‘painful’ one. I lost 599 pips and it made me think more about patience and also assumption. I guess I was trying to be biased in terms of my journal. Sometimes it’s hard not to be emotional when trading but I know I need to make this mistake now than later. What if my account was a 100k USD account? I know I can’t make this mistake then. Or what if it’s a 1mil USD account?! More backtest, Sue Yin! More patience and more dancing properly with the candles! And with this trade, I noticed I didn’t dare to take anymore trade for the day. I think the amount of pips lost made me a bit scared.

We’re also required to analyse our losses. Sometimes losing doesn’t mean we’re wrong and sometimes winning a trade does not mean we’re right. It’s always good to learn from both and apply the knowledge that we’ve gained so we can do better next time. So here’s my first out of 3 loss trades. For this one, I have to admit that I didn’t do enough backtest to see how a ranging day behaves with the system. So I took the trade anyway (no fear mah!). But thanks to my reaction management and preparation of scenarios in case of second direction activated, I got out of this losing trade and took the next one. I made nonetheless. Covered it in 2 trades and made pips at the same time. How cool is that!?

20th WIN! Sometimes all we need is a fresh start. And that’s how I see today’s trade. The past few days have been ranging. Even though my patience was still tested multiples times in the past few days, I know when I just look forward to activations, there are pips to be made when I believe in the system. This one was a good 156 pips. I’m happy and grateful that this made the 20th win. ONE MORE TO GO!

This win, the 19th one is one that really made me realised about patience and greed. This is the least pips I’ve made but no matter what, I’m grateful for what it taught me. Making less than 100 pips may not be what I want at that time, but it made me discover that learning to dance with the candle and not trying to be biased about my decisions is important. I realised if I had waited, I’d make more. But for now, this is what I need in order for me to make it to the exam on Sat.

The 18th WIN and it’s lunch time hahaha... another lunchtime pips. Looks like I’ve been having pips the whole week and it ‘tastes’ and feels so goooood!
The great thing is that I know I can be confident in trading even when there is no breakout or a clear trend. That just means I’m getting better and better at sharpening my observations and refining my journal to be simpler so that it’s easier to execute a trade, doesn’t matter where the price is going in the market.  This is beyond cool! Never knew I’d enjoy this so much! It’s as exciting as it is intriguing. Intriguing because the results came from me!

The 17th WIN! Steady POM PI PI is my favourite phrase now. I think will call it Steady Pom Pip Pip... hahahahah geddit, geddit?  No matter what, when I’m holding my trade, I sometimes get a bit kan-cheong. So what I do is to always look back at my journal and keep playing the possible scenarios in my head so I can react or respond according to the system steadily. It’s also because I have learned that the market is not biased to my emotions. It’s just minding its own business, that’s what instructor Adeline will keep telling us again and again.
“If ranging, then ranging la. If trending then trending la. The market is doing what’s it’s supposed to do and it’s minding its own business.” - AdelineC
So no point getting emo :) Betul tak?

Another double WIN! The 15th & 16th WIN! Again on the same day while following the system! How cool is that?! I guess I will never understand when ppl say trading is risky, hard, too complicated bla bla bla. I can tell you it’s not. All you need is time to just invest your time to understand the system and then have the faith and trust in the system.  I took these 2 trades and feel confident that it will go to where I expect it to go. And it’s because of all the ‘weapons’ (tools and measurements) we learned and used in class that allowed me to make decisions throughout the trading day.  I’m never a numbers, data analyst person to begin with. I’m a creative person in my work environment. I studied Graphic Design and Advertising. And yet when I told myself to have the Growth Mindset, this happened! Results manifested in ways that I can never imagine because I trust myself to trust the system! And soon I will trust the system enough to be a full-time trader and a nature evangelist and the goal is to be a naturalist/gold trader :)
The goal is to quit my job when I reach my Game Plan 2 and earn an abundant living from SRDC Gold Trading!

14th WIN! This is the last win for the month of June and the TP happened when we were in class. Literally the new students (that’s me as well) were staring at the black candle... that made me laugh when the instructor (Marcus), pointed it out.  I’m glad I took this trade when the second direction activated. Another lesson stack: Trust your journal no matter what. You can be emo, but your journal is not (which is a good thing). So trust it with your trading life!

The 13th WIN. And did I mention that 13 is my lucky number? :)  This is a Raya trade. When this trade was taken, most Malaysians were stuffing their faces with lemang, rendang and ketupats. And of course I was actually imagining the lemak food but I know I have pips to make because it was a public holiday. I took the opportunity to make sure that I caught some pips and I did!
I’m just grateful that the public holiday lasted so long so I can monitor the market freely at home. (Although that’s my long term plan when I achieve my desired Game Plan, and the number is 4... )

The 11th & 12th WIN! In 6 hours! And on the same day. This one was one ‘terer’ day. I heard in class that some people lost pips but I’m grateful I made some. Thanks to my handy little journal. In just 6 hours I had 2 wins. The lesson here today is that updating my journal constantly and also doing it before taking the next trade is extremely important in order to have a good ROI because it gets me ready for opportunities. AAAANNND it’s never too much work to work on scenarios that will bring in pips.

The 10th WIN and I realised each WIN makes me wait longer for the TP I want. Instructor Tangerine mentioned that if I want to learn patience, I’ll get it and sometimes it comes in ways that I will never expect and I also have to be grateful for it. So what I did in between the 18 hours before I TP, I enjoyed my day, did some work, had my lunch, and of course, off and on, I’d look at my journal and update it when needed and watch out for any change of direction that would hit my threshold. But it didn’t so I went to sleep and again, it TP-ed at lunch the next day. Another lunch pip!

The 9th WIN and this one made the me wait for quite a bit. But as I look at the scenarios which I’ve plotted out in my reaction management, I know the price is going to go to where it’s supposed to go and then I don’t feel so kan-cheong anymore! I woke up in the morning and saw that the trade was TP-ed!
Sometimes I wonder what I’d do if I don’t have my journal with me (in my phone, my laptop and my other phone hahahahahaha!) ;)
Of course the good thing is that I’m grateful for being able to sleep well knowing that I’m holding an overnight trade.
No more kan-cheong chicken moves!

The 8th win was the one where I harvested the most pip as a baby USU trader. I got 379pips for this beautiful SELL :) Lunchtime pips I call it :)  Again, the journal really prepared me well to look for opportunities as I set multiple entries and exits for the day. Nothing is better than a prepared mind and body.
Now I really get it that there is no such thing as luck. It’s really a lot of preparation and applied knowledge.

The 7th WIN was really a beautiful one. After measuring and just waiting for the price to fulfill, I know it’s going to give me the 300 pips I deserve :) I learned to be patient for this trade. I knew I had to wait for a certain point to know that it will give me the pips I want. Bagus punya lah!

The 6th WIN! I must say that holding a trade and knowing that you know where the price will go really makes a difference. The good thing is, I can sleep well. That’s all I want when I start my LIVE account in Aug. I can’t wait :)
