I was contacted by Nader to draw pictures for and help spread his brother Abdulsalam Al-Anqar’s fundraiser to save their family. Nader is a 17 year old boy who lives in Gaza with his family: parents Ahmed (54) and mother Iman (49), brothers Abdulsalam (26), Mohammed (14), and Omar (21) and Abdulsalam’s wife and their one year old daughter Iman. Imagine it was your sibling, your friend, your son, who should be in school or with his friends, who instead has to hide from bombs and ask for help online to save his family. His family have suffered through one year of genocide. All of you are their hope to get to safety.

Abdulsalams daughter Iman is only one year old and has lived most her life in a war zone. She is suffering from malnutrition. It’s every fathers worst nightmare to see their child starve and not be able to feed her. Please help him feed his daughter and get her to safety. No child should grow up hearing the sound of bombs. Every child has the right to food and safety. You can help give Iman the childhood she should have, where she can sleep in a safe bed at night with a full stomach.

Their father Ahmed has cancer and needs surgery and medication. It is not possible to get the treatment he needs in Gaza. every day his illness is left untreated, the cancer will continue to spread through his body, so he very urgently needs money for treatment and travel. If you help them get to their goal, you are saving their fathers life. Don’t let this family who have already lost so much lose their father, husband, and grandfather

Nader has showed me pictures of this explosion close to them, thankfully they were able to get away. Every day they stay in Gaza their lives are at risk from israeli bombs. Every day and hour counts. I know there are compassionate and kind people who are willing to help. every euro helps, YOUR donation will bring them one moment closer to safety. Never forget that palestinians are not numbers on a list of deaths. Please think of each of them, think of their names and faces and know that you can help them. I think of them every day. I think of the hopes and dreams they should achieve, I think of their education, their future, and the love they show when they work hard every day to get help. You may feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you have the power to save Abdulsalam and his family. I dream that the day will come soon where they may use their days to rest and recover from what they’ve been through, where they can share a meal and laugh and the children will play, instead of having to use their time to beg the world to listen and help them. I told my friend @littlegermanboy 🤍about this incident and we fled to Deir al-Balah because there was no empty place. We sat in the east of Deir al-Balah.

This escape cost us more than before because of the outrageous prices we are experiencing here. This is just an example to tell you that a liter of diesel costs 100 dollars. Which means that the cost of transportation to Deir al-Balah cost me as follows: 500$ transportation 500/700$ to buy a tent to replace the one that burned in Khanios 200/300$ to buy mattresses, blankets, pillows, and clothes for me and my daughter, Maryam But in Deir al-Balah, we did not rent land. We sat on government land for free 300/200$ to build a bathroom All these expenses detract from the funds of the campaign, whose goal is to escape from Gaza to a safe country Of course, there are basic expenses, which are buying food, drinks, milk, and Cerelac for my daughter Maryam. Certainly, these are from the campaign’s money because we do not have any other income other than this campaign.

Now the Israeli occupation army has told us to leave Deir al-Balah to the west, towards the sea The place I am in now is very dangerous, and if I decide to leave, it will cost me more than before, and this is not satisfactory. I spent the campaign’s money just to escape from one place to another.If the Rafah land crossing returns to work again, this means that the money we have is not enough to exit Gaza. For this reason, we will raise the campaign goal to 50k euros

This is the story of Mohammed, Reham, and their children.

Hello, dear merciful souls of the world! This is Mohammed Hassouna from Gaza, Palestine. My wife Reham and I are gifted with three beautiful, adorable daughters, who made us the small, warm family we are. Meet my sweet little angels: Toleen, 7 years old.

Wateen, 4 years old.

Rateel, 2 years old.

We used to live in a house full of love, affection, security, safety, luxury, and family stability. A house my wife and I worked so hard to make it a haven for our daughters. We always provided them with everything they needed and thrived to get them the best education, medical care, and services.

After October 7th, our lives turned upside down, and we were deprived of our safety, home, and all that we worked hard to own, yet we continued our attempts to provide everything for our daughters to preserve their mental health and well-being no matter how hard it was. We have witnessed multiple displacements since the beginning of this ongoing genocide, and currently, we are living in a tent, we have been struggling daily to get the necessities of life, such as food, water, electricity, milk, and pampers for our daughters.

My daughters deserve a normal, safe life, and that's why I'm seeking your help and generosity to enable me to get my family to safety, to flee out of Gaza, and rebuild our lives, where my daughters can get proper education, medical care, and safe places to play in once again, then secure a better future for them. Aching in Ireland, while my Broken Heart is Held Hostage with my Family in Gaza

Before the ongoing horrific genocide in Gaza, I happened to be a PhD student at an Irish university collecting data for my research from universities in Gaza. Little did I know that being a student at an Irish university would be my only way to be saved from the horrible war. I was lucky and privileged, unlike my helpless family trapped in Gaza. Four months and a half into the war, my Irish supervisors and my family insisted that I should seize the opportunity to evacuate to Ireland while I still could.

Setting foot outside Gaza felt like leaving hell and entering a whole new world. People walk carefree in the streets not fearing being killed by an airstrike! They go for a run in the morning and walk their dogs! They go to school and work and live a normal life I had been deprived of for so long! I see people talking and laughing and cannot help but have the daunting thoughts that the next airstrike could kill all of my family members in Gaza.

A horrible mixture of fear, depression, survival guilt, and agony engulfs me and paralyzes my entire life as I watch the news while being far away. Just a couple of days ago, 100 innocent people were killed in a school in Gaza where people sought shelter. I saw pictures and videos of people carrying the burned meat of their family members instead of whole corpses. Could our world be more evil, insensitive, desensitized, and cruel?

My heart skips a beat every time I hear that the neighborhood where my family has been displaced was bombed! What if they are running out of luck as I write these words and the next indiscriminate bombing will end their lives?! Therefore, evacuation is a dire need and a matter of life and death at this point as the genocide and massacres continue unabated.

I am desperately trying to protect my family from this genocide just as you would do if you were in my place. I plan to evacuate them to Egypt as a first step in the hope of reuniting with them in Ireland where we can have a dignified safe life together away from the missiles, bombs, corpses, diseases, polluted water, and pain of loss. We love Gaza more than anything in the world, but I can not accept carrying them as burned meat in plastic bags like I see all the time in the news and social media.

The thing is lads I cannot think of a better use for my tax dollars than feeding children. I want my taxes to give the single mother of three healthcare. I want my taxes to take care of the elderly and the disabled. I don’t care if they’re citizens or legal residents or whatever. I want my taxes to help people. HELP AHMED AND MARAM IN GAZA REACH €30k BY SUNDAY

My friends Ahmed and Maram have been more than patient despite their constantly-changing, exhausting, and life-threatening circumstances. Displaced 11 times with 3 small children, moving from place to place under fire, relying on dirty water and scarce food to stay alive — their only hope for safety sadly lies outside of Gaza, and they’re close to reaching their initial fundraising goal at €27,170/€30,000. That’s only €2,830 to go, leaving them at €30,000/€40,000!

I’d like to ask that we give it our all to help them reach this before the week is through. These funds are a lifeline for this family. I can attest to their legitimacy as someone who has been in contact with them for months, receiving pictures, videos, and recordings of their situation, as well as helping them iron out issues with the campaign and connecting them to their beneficiary, who sends us updates about the movement of all money. They are real. They need help.

Basically, if you don’t know: The people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Or the DRC) has been suffering due to big tech companies like Apple, Alphabet Inc., Google, Dell, Microsoft and Tesla. They have been exploiting Congo’s land for their minerals like Diamonds, Gold, Copper, Cobalt, Tin, Tantalum and Lithium. These companies use these minerals to make phones, cars, computers and other technology.

The people of Congo are being treated like dirt, like they worth less than the colonizers stealing from them. The colonizers, which they call ‘Rebels’ have been r*ping, killing brutally, enslaving, and starving them. They are being kicked out of their land because these big tech companies want it. They’re being killed and r*ped because these big tech companies think they have the right.

This isn’t right!! So research what’s going on, tell others, spread awareness. Look up what companies are exploiting Congo and boycott. Don’t buy their stuff, keep using your phone or laptop until it’s broken and unusable.
