Over the weekend I had the chance to head downtown to see Aladdin (cheap seats and free bus transportation with my Pitt ID, as always). Not a perfect show but it was one of the more amazing spectacles I’ve seen at the Benedum! So, today I went up to the 10th floor of the Cathedral for my Set Theory class and the classroom has this nice view and it turns out they’ve renovated the whole Philosophy department and it’s all fancy with this nice tiling and stuff and it was a nice surprise on my second day! Well, the semester’s coming to an end and it’s about time I sign off for the year! It was a good spring. I officially became a BPhil candidate, received an award from the honors college, worked on a game development team of 8 as the creative director, started a student organization, was a teaching assistant for two CS courses, got a new job developing software for research in the HPS department, made a few smaller educational games with IS and Philosophy faculty, sang with the Glee Club, launched a web application which will form the basis for my honors thesis, and ate a bunch of v good food (also I did classes at some point, too). I’m sure the fall will only be more busy! Over the summer, I’ll be working as a research intern at Carnegie Mellon’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute, just a block down the street! Celebrating the end of the semester with some late night Fuel and Fuddle! For the prospective students out there who don’t yet know, Fuel and Fuddle is a gastropub on campus that is basically the most Pittsburgh food I know of. My favorite thing there are these super good spicy pierogies called the “Chipotle Polka” but tonight I got this pulled pork sandwich called the “Hog Heaven”. It’s a great quirky place that helps make our campus more special #mypittstory #h2p (at Fuel and Fuddle)

We ended the first Sustainability Week with a Symposium to show off my class’s projects throughout the semester. I have learned so much sophomore year, and I can’t believe finals are NEXT WEEK already! #mypittstory #pitt2022 (at William Pitt Union)
