"Touch her and you will fin out what's worse than death." Billy talking to someone after he found out they were messing with you or Max.

Basketball practice ended early and Billy went searching for you and Max. The hallways are void of the annoying sound of Max’s skateboard wheels rolling through the empty high school hallways. The library you usually wait in was completely empty except for the old librarian who always gives Billy dirty looks. Figuring the two of you decided to wait by his car, he made his way outside. Hearing your irritated voice and a few curse words fly from your mouth, he was ready to tear Max a new one. If you were upset enough to let those kinds of words pass your lips, something serious must’ve happened.  

“You need to fuck off! I find out you are harassing a middle schooler again, you’re in for a fate much worse than death you fucking asshole!” You yell, pointing your finger in the face of the entitled high school prick. 

“Calm your tits I was just joking.” He rolls his eyes with a scoff. “It’s not like your little threats scare me anyway.” He says, stepping closer and reaching out to grab your arm.

Max stands frozen in place behind you with her duct-taped skateboard hugged to her chest. Billy has no idea whats going on but he sure as hell knows he isn’t going to let anyone talk to you like that and definitely not touch you. He stops a few feet from where you and the prick stands. 

“Touch her and you’ll find out exactly what’s worse than death, I like to call it my bad side.” Billy threatens, his sudden appearance and outburst startling the other boy. “What the hell is going on here.” 

“I caught him pushing Max around.” You say, looking back at Max who is nervously chewing at her bottom lip. Billy gives her an intimidating look and Max spills. 

“He was talking… about y/n. I told him to shut his mouth and that she’d never go for such a neanderthal,” She confesses and watches the angry red spread to Billy’s face.

“Are you new here?” Billy asks and the boy shakes his head ‘no’. “Then you must be an idiot for fucking with my girl and my kid sister. If I find out you are even thinking about one of them…” He chuckles in a frightening and unamused way. “Stay away from them and keep my girlfriend’s name out of your fucking mouth or I will knock your teeth out.” 

Billy nods toward the car, ushering you and Max over with his eyes as he stays behind. You’re reluctant to leave Billy behind, knowing he going to do may not turn out good for the other kid. Max hurries into the backseat without a second thought but you stand right outside your door, gently tapping on the top of your car.

“Get in the car,” Billy growls as he approaches.

You slide into the passenger seat of the car and buckling the seatbelt across your chest. You turn and watch Billy get in, his face void of emotion and knuckles cracked. He starts the car and peels out of the parking lot as he normally does, fast and without a car. Halfway to your house he stops the car and looks at you and Max.

“Max, you don’t let assholes mess with you.” He says looking as her through the rearview and turns his attention to you. “y/n, if he even looks at you, you tell me. You too Max, you may get on my nerves but that shit is not going to fly.” That being said, he puts the car back in park and finishes taking you home.
