This claim was a bit inaccurate. There are still some in-game and unused songs not included here. So! I went through and created a YouTube playlist with all the songs I could find. If you're looking for a song to start with, I recommend Hiscore. :)

Looking at RDZ's file with JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler, it looks like there was meant to be an unlockable menu on the main screen that was never implemented. Cool!

The existing text just looked like it was meant to link to some promotional art and videos, but there's a lot of placeholder text so there may have been more planned! We will never know…

The youtube link doesn't work, and I can't figure out how to find any of the other items.

The only level you need the Permanent Jet Suit to get 5 stars on is Oxygen Plants Area 2.

One of the secrets is the hidden area. To trigger the secret, you need to get to an area you cannot leave without a jetsuit. Given that you do not have a suit at this point, and you cannot have gotten all the other secrets yet, you cannot get 5 stars until you have the permanent jet suit.

The sprite for two suits, for a single frame, has a stray pixel.

This is present in for the invincibility suit and permanent jetsuit, no matter what weapon you have.

Okay, it's kind of a blurry mess at this point. But I wouldn't lie.

Oxygen Plants Area 1 has a bunch of glitched areas! These are easy to get to with the permanent jetpack, but you can get to all them with the regular one.

If you go all the way to the left with the jetsuit, you can find a couple of random floating assets! Normally, there is a giant pipe in the way, but you can get around it in this area.

The assets I found are floating bottles, background truss, and a semi-transparent pipe.

The one I'm standing on here is the only spot with collision.

Also, to the very far right of the level, past the end teleport pad and a bit up, there's a random floating corner.

Standing on the far right of the screen and falling shows that the background there is kind of messed up.

You can find more by flying to the right of The Oxygen Plants Bonus area. You need the perma jetsuit for this.

It's a maze of platforms. It's about the same length and design as the area you're supposed to stay in, although with no collectables or enemies.

In the sky above One Last Thing, there's random pink squares you can stand on. (You can completely bypass the boss if you fly high enough.)

If you fly up after you defeat the brain thing in The Launchpad, there's another section!

Maybe there's more I missed? Who knows :)

If you use a jetsuit to get on the hill to the left of Crater Lake 1's spawn, you can find a hidden developer note!

There are two more secrets like this I found, but both need the permanent jetsuit.

The first is in Ripple Labs 1, above the spawn.

The perma jetsuit is called the "debug armor" here, which is also what its sprite is called.

The second is above the end of Terrarium.

True to its word, this area contains a teleporter to a debug area, as well as a secret section of the Terrarium!

It is styled just like the rest of the level, even including enemies and a save point! No pickups, though, and the assets aren't polished. Very interesting, though!

The hidden area of Terrarium lets you go back to any bonus level you failed without having to replay the entire level. If you're looking to rescue all the Ripples, this saves a lot of time!

In the second area of every level, there is an alternate teleporter you can find that will lead you to a hidden level. There are four in total.

The one found in Ripple Labs Area 2 grants two secrets, the ones in Crater Lake and Oxygen Plants grant one secret, and Terrarium grants none.

Q. What is Pixeltruss/Ripple Dot Zero?

A. Ripple Dot Zero is an indie Flash metroidvania, created by Tommy Salomonsson and Simon Stålenhag. Pixeltruss is their group name. A more in-depth explanation can be found here.

As I try to make clear, I am not associated with the production of this game!! I'm just a fan.

Q. How can I play Ripple Dot Zero?

A. You might notice that this is an indie Flash metroidvania. So, you can't play it anymore... right?

Surprise! There are several Flash game archives you can download to play these games. The one I personally use is Flashpoint Archive, but I'm sure there's others.

(Salomonsson has expressed an interest to make this game play independently, but time will tell.)

Q. What's the appeal of Ripple Dot Zero?

A. I don't generally play metroidvanias, but Ripple Dot Zero charmed me with its platforming and fighting just as much as it pulled me in with its art style and music. If I knew how, I'd download it and rip all its assets to admire... *realizes I might be able to do that*

A. hi! my name's cerulean, she/her. i usually type in lowercase, but for this blog i've been talking more grammatically. i found this game through adventure forward 2 on roblox, like a lot of people did, but i'm the only adventure forward player i know who has gotten really into this game.

Q. Why'd you make this blog?

A. After playing the game and doing a little digging, I found that Pixeltruss used to have a website. All I had to do was post it into the Wayback Machine to find everything that ever had been on that website. But I shouldn't have to. If someone was less curious than me, they'd never think to do that!

I decided to make this blog to archive all of that website's content, so it can be easily found for anyone looking. I also decided to use it for the rare times I discovered something new about this game.
