So if you didn't know, a few days ago I was cycling towards Siem Reap and I didn't know yet that I will be staying stuck in Cambodia for longer than expected as my passeport went missing for unknown reasons... that's why the blog has not been updated since a few days... weeks? But I'll receive my new one on Monday or Tuesday and will be back on the roads on Wednesday hopefully. I can't wait to be pedalling again but this break has been really good for my body and mind and I've been visiting places that are amazing! (at Siem Reap)

The beauty of light playing with thousand years old walls. It is really an amazing place to wander around. I stayed only one day but three days is the best to visit all of the temples. It's huge! (at អង្គរវត្ត Angkor Wat)

I'm usually more into mountains but I have to admit it's amazing to just stay on this beautiful island with white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water. I never really take time off and I think that I should do it more often... it helps to clear the mind about my different projects and hopefully make me more productive! To have lost this passeport is maybe for the best! (at Koh Rong Samloem)

Bike touring is not all about the destination but the journey! Travelling slow let me discover new places, new cultures, amazing people, and offers me a full experience of the areas I'm crossing wether it's raining and cold or 45°C, dry or humid, noisy or peaceful, smooth road or dirt corrugated tracks... tag someone you would like to bring with you on a bike tour adventure! Reclining Buddha in the cave at Phetchabury. This place is such a gem. When I discover wondeful places, I like to think about the first person who discovered it and how wild it must have been before. Can you imagine getting in this cave and seeing that beautful light coming from the ceiling? (at Phetchaburi)

I've cycled to paradise! It's so much better to take the small roads with no one on it and with amazing beaches along! This is the last time I'll see the sea before my big overland crossing! Next sea... the Caspian sea!

Last night as I was sleeping on the beach I saw those hills and islands creating this nice shape and took a photo of it. The green light is coming from night fishing boats. They use this green light to attract fish in their nets. (at Phraya Nakhon Cave)

Enjoying cycling the Thailand backroads! Bike touring taught me a lot including how to live in a minimalistic way and that's a lesson that I will keep for life. "Less is more" is so powerful. Less choices or decision making gives you more time. Decision making can be a real time and energy waste when you think about it. More about this in the book I'm writing!! (at Thailand)

Last night I stayed at a buddhist temple for the night and spent some time chatting with Charin, a monk living there. It was very interesting to discover some parts of the life in a temple. Charin would have loved to cycle the world in his twenties but now he shares stories wih bike tourers staying at the temple. They provided me a room to sleep and a shower and Charin gave me so much food that I've still have some for a couple of days. So much kindness. Thank you! 🙏
