Edgar isn't an evil AI and I don't believe he should be classified as one. Sure, he tried to steal Miles' girl but let's be real, who wouldn't?

If anything, Edgar is an entity that was formed into a world without any prior knowledge of human life or emotions. He may have been confused with the new emotions he was experiencing and Miles made it a lot worse with the way he treated him.

"but he's just a machine and Miles only saw him that way!" Edgar was given the ability to feel and experience the human world and yet Miles still treated him like utter garbage.

"but he tried to harm Miles!" Dude I would too if my music was being stolen, if I was being hidden, and if I was being treated as something dastardly and disgusting! I believe Edgar's attempt was reasonable.

"Miles is the HUMAN!" I don't care what that guy is. He could even be a damn armadillo, it doesn't matter. He still treated Edgar poorly.

In conclusion, Edgar isn't an evil AI, he's quite the opposite.
