I'm beginning to think that making visibly corrupt weapons contractors a load baring pillar of our economy might not have been a great idea.

HELP SHIRA SURVIVE A TRANSMISOGYNIST ATTEMPTED MURDER

Shira is a Turkish trans woman who was the victim of attempted murder by a man on the street who realized she was transfemme. After he stabbed her, dozens of people walked by her on the sidewalk until a teenager stopped and helped her.
Shira is now in the hospital in critical condition. She’s undergone emergency surgery and will need multiple operations and long-term care to recover—physically and emotionally.
Shira has no close family nearby, is not accepted by public organizations in Turkey because she is trans, and she’s unable to work while she heals. Her friends are raising funds to cover her medical bills, therapy, and basic living expenses during this painful time.
As of me posting this, the fundraiser has €125 out of a €12k goal. If you can’t give anything to help a trans woman survive a horrific attack, please at least reblog this, set it on your queue, whatever you need to do to make sure others can see and help. Thank you.

Image description: A Twitter thread by @z_00pIz dated June 13, 2025 that reads the following:
As the was escalates, casualties will occur on both sides, but on the Israeli side, most will be Palestinians with Israeli citizenship, aka "Arab Israelis". Israel will exploit our deaths for propaganda, despite being responsible for starting the war and denying us shelters.
Israel has refused to fund our towns or build proper bomb shelters, if you're lucky and live near a school, you might squeeze into a rundown shelter meant for 200 people, which is just a room with no external walls, and for Bedouins in the south, this is their best option: [Video of people of different ages laying down by a pile of dirt. In the background there are camels.]
In Jewish towns, every house and neighborhood comes with public and private shelters that can be accessed at any time and within a few minutes. In Arab towns, no such shelters exist. Here;s a map comparing the number of public shelters: [Maps showing different Arab and Jewish towns with blue dots indicating the shelters.]
Nazareth is the clearest example of this discrimination. It's the largest Palestinian city in Israel, yet it has 0 public shelters. Just next to it is Nof HaGalil, a town established as a Jewish settlement to "Judaize" the area and it has shelters on nearly every street. [Map showing a Jewish town with many blue dots indicating the shelters there. The Jewish town is surrounded by several Arab towns with no blue dots.]

it's nonsensical to claim that israel wouldn't have done this if kamala were president. people posting this have sudden onset amnesia for events that happened in 2024: remember that israel bombed iran twice and killed iranian diplomats all over the middle east while biden was president and harris was vice president. they both publicly support israel's right to defend itself; besides, israel would've done this no matter what without cuts to its military, which harris wouldn't have done. stop deluding yourself

the phrase “traps are(/n’t) gay” haunts me. like its so interesting because whats being positioned here isn’t whether the transmisogynised is themselves gay or not but, due to the abject position imposed, whether you are gay for fucking them. no internality is presumed of the trap, no agency. you fuck the trap, are *you* gay? not by force of any relationship to it- but does it leave a kind of residue on you, does it fag you up? though darkly, what we are asking here is are traps, in their social exile, contagious?

The existence of an immigration-enforcement agency isn’t inherently the problem. Most people accept that states have a right to control their borders and that there’s a legitimate role for authorities charged with enforcing immigration policy, especially when it comes to those who have committed serious crimes. ICE also investigates trafficking, smuggling and other transnational offenses that clearly require federal oversight. The core issue is less the agency’s mandate than its methods. Well-documented abuses — denials of due process, inhumane conditions and politically motivated enforcement — have undermined public trust and raised serious ethical concerns. The worry is not whether immigration law should be enforced but how, and at what human cost. The holding facilities ICE uses are part of this system: They house people awaiting deportation, court appearances or further investigation. What’s in dispute isn’t the need for such spaces; it’s the treatment of detainees within those spaces. Many facilities have drawn criticism for degrading or dangerous conditions. Still, as a beneficiary of a trust that rents a property to ICE, your leverage is minuscule. You can’t unilaterally break the lease. Even if you could, ICE would simply relocate its facility. And while moral complicity is a serious concern, receiving income from a legal tenant, however problematic, isn’t generally considered an ethical transgression on its own. We’re all entangled in systems we don’t control. As citizens, we’re already implicated in the actions of government agencies that act in our name and that we help fund. If those actions are shameful, they cast a shadow on all of us. But that shared entanglement also opens the door to shared responsibility — and response. [...] Here’s one constructive path: If this money feels tainted, redirect it. Use it to support organizations that advocate for the rights you believe ICE has violated — groups like the A.C.L.U., the American Immigration Council or local legal-aid nonprofits that provide support for detainees. Back candidates pushing for humane immigration reform.

does anyone have that quote that goes something like 'white germans under the nazis lived just fine as long as they were loyal to the state, gave their children to the army, and paid their taxes, and in this sense many americans would be comfortable living under fascism' trying to find who said it but google is giving me jack shit

A trans woman was just sentenced to 15 years in prison for defending herself from an attacker. She wanted no part in the fight and witnesses described her actions as self-defense. With right-wing media constantly portraying her as "evil" since the incident, the trial was over before it began.

It’s one of those moments where the root logic of control and authority in psychiatry is really obvious. because when psychiatrist demean and deny care to “drug seeking” patients but also regularly force drugs onto patients trying to avoid them it becomes clear it’s not about the drugs at all but is in fact about the relationship between power, madness, and enforcing sanity without any regard for autonomy or consent.

Can people understand that’s i’m like them I don’t get donations and not the one who make people donate…
Sometimes I feel I’m going crazy because of what’s happening and overthinking stressing about my brother and my responsibilities
Every time i say i want to stop sharing and helping i go back and a lot of scammers even people of gaza some of them are scamming and do more than one campaign.
I’m sorry for anyone I didn’t respond to and shared i have been doing that for one year
I’m not good at speaking and speak out how i feel and what i think.
Tumblr is a family for me .. I still need your help for my brother because isarel weaponized hunger against the people of gaza you need fortune to buy some food like canned food if you found it and there’s no flour.

Hello guys, I am Rana from Gaza, a university professor with a master's degree in statistics and a mother of 4 children. We lost our home due to the war, and my workplace, the Islamic University, was destroyed, as was my husband's workplace, and we became homeless and jobless. I am speaking on behalf of @eslamfa1, who has her own campaign for her and her family so they may survive under the harsh conditions in Gaza. She is very thankful for all the support she's had, but she needs more help.
She has asked me to host a fundraiser for more of her family, namely for her parents and siblings who desperately need funds for food, water, and medical treatment. They have been displaced multiple times and have only been able to contact Eslam through an unreliable internet connection.
Here is their story as written by her sister, Aya:
"Hello friends, we will tell you our sad story
I am Aya, an outstanding high school student. I was very happy to be on the verge of achieving my dream of finishing my school studies and achieving what I aspired to, which is to become a doctor.
My family of 8 and a beautiful cat named Katie were living a beautiful and peaceful life, each of us striving to achieve our dreams.
We had our beautiful house in Khan Yunis. Recently, we were celebrating my sister Heba’s fourth place in the Gaza Strip in the Arabic language recruitment exam. Our life was like material and emotional perfection. We did not feel deprived or lacking anything.
My sister Lina is a university student. Her dream was to become a psychologist to help mentally ill people in the Strip.
My brother Ahmed was the most beautiful gift from God. He came after 20 years of being deprived of male siblings. After completing his studies, he became a water carrier and took on a great responsibility beyond his capacity.
We also had two little butterflies, the apple of the house, and Jana, the favorites of their teachers and friends at school.
Then the war broke out and everything was turned upside down. We were forced to leave the house after quadcopters surrounded us, tanks surrounded us, and we saw death right in front of our eyes, but we miraculously escaped.
We were displaced several times on foot. Feet, then our end was in a tent that did not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer, and there were poisonous insects and scorpions around us, there was no clean water or healthy food, so my family and I got hepatitis and a lot of intestinal infections.
We were shocked that our house was bombed and destroyed and the features of the house disappeared from the face of the earth, so we felt very sad and despair took over us.
Life here in Gaza is expensive, we cannot buy the minimum necessities of life, imagine that the price of a kilo of tomatoes is $50, and the price of a bag of flour is $200, life here is like a famine! My father is a nervous patient and my mother suffers from chronic pressure and they need continuous treatment and medications. We suffer from bringing water from long distances, and from the high prices of food and cleaning materials and water pollution. What we have suffered most in this war is the loss of members of our family, and this is the hardest thing we have been through. We have lost 20 members of our family. Please help us bear the very high cost of living until we evacuate from Gaza and save our lives. The cost per person is $5,000. Help us, you are the only hope left."
These are some of the photos she's managed to receive of some of her family (Aya, Ahmed, Hala, Jana, and their cat) and of the conditions of the areas they've been displaced from and to:

Note: Due to mentioned lack of internet connection, Eslam has not been able to receive more photos yet. There will be more updates to come when, hopefully, more communications are made.
PLEASE DONATE !!!!! Aya, Lina, Ahmed, Hala, jana, and their parents' well beings are at stake! Starting goal is $10,000

🦋🦋 VERY IMPORTANT 🦋🦋
‼️TODAY I WAS SURPRISED THAT Tumblr DELETE ALL MY Tumblr ACCOUNT.
I don't know why, or what mistake I made, but I have been on Tumblr for 6 months. 🫂❤️
All my posts were deleted , and unfortunately I can't find any old version.😭😭😭
PLEASE SUPPORT MY COMPAIGN AND SHAR MY STORY 🩵
THIS IS MY STORY 🍉
My name is Eslam Gheelan, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.

Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$.
Attached for you are pictures of how our lives have changed since October 7th.

Please help. Any funds raised will be used in daily survival and if enough is raised, to be able to evacuate Gaza.

It's urgent ‼️🚨
Hello friends
I hope you are all well. I am grateful for your support of me and my kids and for standing by me, but there is very bad news Unfortunately, GoFundMe has closed the fundraiser for me and my kids. After freezing it for several months, approximately four months, and after submitting the information required for the review process, GoFundMe closed the fundraising today. After it reached $117,000, it gained 39,000 and lost approximately $73,000.
It will never be easy to reach this mileage. It took me a lot of time, effort, and effort to be able to save money for me, my children, and my family. If you receive a refund, please re-donate through the Chuffed.org link or the PayPal link. I need your support, standing by my side again, and all hope and trust in you

Help Gymnast Ahmed Receive Treatment and Prosthetics After Surviving Airstrike!
[Video above is of Ahmed doing flips]
Mustafa Matar Al-Galban, a family friend, has made a campaign for his injured nephew who lost both his legs and fingers on his hand as well as his twin brother, all in one airstrike. Mustafa Matar is an anchor at a news station, journalist, an award winning poet from Gaza.
Ahmed and his brother were both active athletes, talented in gymnastics, hoping to one day participate in competitions, but that was stolen from him in a moment.
Today, Ahmed is in dire need of treatment and psychological and medical care. He needs prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, proper nutrition and medication, and the most basic necessities of life to help him heal and overcome one of the most traumatic experiences a child anywhere in the world can go through.

[Image of Ahmed in a hospital bed with amputated limbs and casts]
Ahmed is not a number on a news bulletin. He is a boy like any child. He dreamed like them, lived like them, and just wanted to be free, to play, to live, to achieve his dreams. He lost his brother, he lost his legs, but he did not lose his spirit.
Be part of Ahmed's journey toward hope. Help him regain some of his life. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in the future of a child battling pain, disability, and betrayal, yet still believing that there is still hope in the world. Help Ahmed. Help hope stay alive.
