I like how in S2 they gave Owlette what could technically be considered throwing knives but she utilizes her feather power as more of a Razor Leaf type ability because kid show

It’s funny bc her feathers are supposedly soft (as stated in the show), but whenever she misses her target or hitting a non-living target they’ll stick into walls or concrete.

I HAVE A 3RD PJ MASKS OC

Since the PJ Masks verse canonically has Ancient Egyptian gods just casually lurking in there, i figured i’d put my other special interest (Ancient Egyptian lore) to good use!

She is based off of the goddess Wadjet, who is often depicted as a cobra or as a woman with a cobra's head. I thought it would be a cool contrast to PB or Apophis, since they’re supposed to be polar opposites. Even in Ancient Egyptian mythology, Wadjet and Apophis are distinct entities with opposing roles. Wadjet is a protective cobra goddess, who was a beneficial entity to Egypt, while Apophis is a chaotic serpent and the enemy of the sun god Ra, embodying darkness and destruction. Just a nice contrast imo :3

Note: Ancient Egyptian Mythology is a mess so don’t take my word for it. There are tons of different interpretations and beliefs so this is kind of my version or understanding of it. But i think i got the core concept of the goddess down so thats neat.

While doing my research, i found that Bastet and Wadjet were sometimes merged into one single figure so…💀 (like i said, it’s a mess)

Design:

I tried to stick as close as possible to her original depiction, while also trying to not make her look like a female version of PB dhgdhdd. I was having a hard time incorporating the wings to her design, but they ended up being too much, so i put them on her bracelets instead. I still kept all her colors though.

Backstory:

In my headcanon i see the World Beyond as their afterlife, thats why i believe all the gods reside there. Since PB was causing havoc in the city, the gods sent Bastet to stop him (them being arch nemesis and all). But because she wasn’t able to fully get rid of PB from the city and was performing her duties recklessly in their eyes, the gods then sent Wadjet to go put them both in place. (Bastet hates that Wadjet treats her like a child, but still likes her as a big sister.) Wadjet also had nothing to do in the World Beyond, so she quite enjoyed her stay in the city (hence why she visits more often than before).

Personality:

I imagine her being the “big sister” type. Scolding and tutoring others who she deems less mature than her, but also be obliviously kind to everyone. That being said, i do not think her and PB would get along gfgfhfhd. Especially since she’s the “good” snake god of the two. I feel like she wouldn’t take his shitty behavior, but at the same time treat him nicely? It would be like a “big sister and younger brother” type of dynamic.

Powers (aside from the typical energy blasts):

- Restoration/Healing

- Poison/immobilization (like Venom from Miraculous)

How would villain An Yu react to meeting her canon counterpart (considering how absolutely apposed their views are i'd assume not well)

Oh yeah, it would not go well, but Villain An Yu can be reasonable. If you put the two dragons in the same room, nothing would happen really. An Yu would just be disappointed, pitying her counterpart. Most likely fueling her motivation to destroy Mystery Mountain. However if An Yu gets in the way of her counterpart from destroying MM, then expect a fight.

Fighting Villain AnYu is generally a bad idea, even just sparring with her, the AniMasks got bodied. NightPanther got thrown into the ground creating a crater, DarkOwl was kicked in to a tree that vertically split in half, and Gator was slammed into a boulder.
