Pt. 4 New pokemon ughhh
dealing with this
So the thing here is that I really want the other type of the starters to be something they’re usually weak to that isn’t another starter type (so like, grass is usually weak to rock I think [the graph is really confusing to look at] so they gain that power at the final evolution) I’m still working on it though
Arilade - fire/dark
Based on the asian lady beetle
Ottandar - grass/rock
based on the otter
Cosench - water/steel
based on the cow and bull
LEGENDARIES
Slucetra
based on translucent (do better)
Teraspara
based on transparent
Ebrosba
based on absorb (meant to be opaque but that word just didn’t work out lol)

alright back in this shit
Pt. 3 - the land of Absonar
dealing with this lol
I originally wanted to be able to have this game visit every previous country, but I think I’d have a stroke if I tried that shit so this is the better option.
The world of Absonar isn’t based on any real-world country.

continuing to create my funny little characters aka my favorite part of any project teehee
Part 2: The Gym Challenge
THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS I DEAL WITH PLOT
Just so you know, I figured the gym types by writing down every gym from every game, comparing them, and choosing the most common option. I then figured the names by writing down every gym leader name for the types I chose, and then making sure the pun I came up with hadn’t been copied previously.
THE GYMS
- Georgia - rock - she/her - Amethyst badge
Pun from geodes (pronounced JEE-or-juh). Your favorite late-50s crystal enthusiast witch aunt, who is so kind and clingy it’s kind of overwhelming but she makes the best food so who cares. Gives tips and tricks galore for anyone who’s struggling, also teaches at the Pokemon School. An overall really wholesome person. If she’s upset, you know you’ve really fucked up.
room challenge: nothing, just pretty gems :)
- Jude - fighting - he/him - Gentle badge
Pun from Judo (which I’m surprised hasn’t been used before). An expert in multiple forms of martial arts, who loves the concept of honor and the spiritual guidance that it brings. His general non-threatening nature and tendency to walk around without pokemon causes many baddies to think of him as weak prey. Those baddies are usually out of commission within a minute.
room challenge: judo pokemon battles!
(If this hypothetically got a tv show spin-off I’d ABSOLUTELY make it so that pokemon could only use nonlethal/passive attacks to faint, in order to make it more like actual Judo, where the main goal is only to incapacitate)
- Millie - bug - they/them - Metamorph badge
Pun from Millipede. Millie was once a bug catcher, but through hard work, they became a professional entomologist. They are a well-received researcher, but recently had come across a feeling of uncertainty and trouble. The fix for this was to become a gym leader. The connection to their personal Pokémon was a welcome change to the experiments and wild studies that they had become stuck in, and served to be a sort of stress reliever.
room challenge: Bug/Butterfly enclosure!
(all of the battlers will have different Pokémon that represent different regions; there might actually be a couple tall grass bits to obtain “exotic” bug Pokémon)
- Kai - ghost - all pronouns interchangeably - Onibi (ghost flame) badge
Pun from Yokai. Less of a human and more of a physical manifestation of those lost. So basically, a sort of reaper. She doesn’t leave her gym much, but she is always accepting guests. The town likes to really play up its supernatural ability (essentially knowing exactly when you’ll die), but be rest assured, you are safe in its hands. Xe may look scary, but xe’s a big softie. they love the concept of life, as they know more than enough about death already. He will not hurt you.
room challenge: tea ceremony theme, tasseography
- Savannah - ground - she/they - Ticket badge
Pun from the Savannah Desert. An adventurer at heart, Savannah’s gym is riddled with artefacts, models, and souvenirs from their time traveling in the other regions. She isn’t at her own gym often due to her frequent traveling (when she can afford it) and camping trips (when she can’t). They often get “homesick” when away from the world for too long, So be sure to fight them as soon as possible, because missing her could mean waiting up to a couple months before another chance appears again.
room challenge: basically a quiz on previous regions (cities, pokemon on various routes, hard shit sorry newbies)
- Chef Casper - steel - she/her - Stainless badge
Pun from cast-iron pan. A strict, no-funny business gourmet chef. She is the one that most trainers get stuck on, because she puts perfection above all and prides herself in how long it can go before someone beats her again. She has a pretty decent level gap from Savannah and has reportedly been able to knock down a full team of fire-types. Those who can pass her are well on their way to becoming a victor.
room challenge: Hell’s kitchen
- Rudolph - ice - he/him - Frosty badge
Pun from that one reindeer. A cheery, but rather sickly individual. He has an illness that drains his energy, so it can sometimes be hard to move around without an aid. Coldness helps his body recover, so he spent a lot of time around ice pokemon as a kid, and has his gym at a level of chill that helps free him up. When he gets too cold, there is a lounge room to the side that’s much warmer and has cocoa for those who stay battling within the gym. His partner is often around to help keep things at top shape and informing passerbys when he is unable to battle.
room challenge: Snowglobe! Maybe the lounge room is a nice little cabin in the globe :)
- Wyatt - dragon - he/him - Serpent badge
Pun from Wyvern. Despite his outward charm, he is a rotten, egotistical, manipulative apple inside. He loves beating trainers and taking their money, as he lives lavishly and enjoys decorating his gym with useless, excessive, extremely expensive things. He’s a person who considers all past Teams to be in the right (including/especially the ones who stole, killed, and hurt innocent lives). Truly, morality means nothing when it comes to Gyms. Funnily enough, he actually supplied and eventually joined Team Prism for a while, before getting upset that he wasn’t given royalty treatment due to his gym leader status and left with a huff. Now he just complains that Prism wasn’t a “real” Team, that they were just a bunch of wimps anyway.
Room challenge: money hoarding theme (dragon’s treasure). Every single gym trainer (including Wyatt) has their team built around draining you for every drop of money should you lose
(btw this is literally just a jab against my irl ex who almost killed me. Fuck you, Wyatt. Suck a raw egg till it breaks in your mouth. GAG ON EGGS)
THE ELITE FOUR
- Cecil - water - he/they
Pun from sea-cil. A highly intelligent oceanographer who helps create oceanic equipment to further deep-sea exploration throughout the region. Despite his love for oceanic pokemon, he unfortunately has thalassophobia (fear of the open ocean) and would never willingly do the exploring himself. By becoming a pokemon master and designing deep-sea equipment, he is able to fulfill his ocean dreams while staying safe and dry.
Room style: deep sea
- Ignatia - fire - she/her
Pun from igneous rocks and from igniting. A spiritual woman, she performs spells and rituals with fire to bring peace to the region. General mystical dark vibes. Basically I’m gonna make Ignatia represent the entire satanic pokemon era, even if she’s just a pagan living her life. Will probably foretell the reckoning.
Room style: ritual/ bonfire
- Herbert - grass - he/him
Pun from herbs. Literally whatever Herb cookie has, this man strives to be. He is an apothecary master and produces much of the healing items that can be sold throughout the region. The type of person that stress bakes. He will always treat you to a nice cup of soothing tea after beating you :)
Room style: apothecary
- Amp/Triple A - electric - they/them
Pun from amplifiers and AAA batteries. Short for Ampatheadore, Triple A’s room is soundproof due to their constant musical work. They really like making new sounds, whether it’s trying out every musical genre possible or attempting to create brand new instruments. They’re like the K.K. Slider of the region. They refuse to have any crew besides one or two occasional friends helping out, so whenever they drop a music video, the cinematography and editing is all them, too. When they’re not playing music, they’re developing anger issues by playing combat/FPS video games.
Room style: backstage
- Orange - various - she/her
Pun from the rainbow. A mysterious woman who, up until recently, was an iron fist with a mourning heart. Depending on your actions, she will be newly healing and bright, or crushed and filled with hate. Last name Plement.
Room style: monochrome
heeheehee hohoho, lots of rep for a little creachure such as me (I wanted to use neopronouns for more than just Kai but it didn’t really fit anyone sorry, I’ll make sure a couple of key npcs have neos :) - a neopronoun user)

alright now that it’s 4:46 am and I’ve sufficiently finished my first ever semester in college (only almost failed 1 class!) so I feel like I actually have the power to get into what I know right now as a sleepy heckn, , a stupid child
Part 1: Characters
THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS I DEAL WITH PLOT
THE GOOD GUYS
- MC (main children): Cyan (F), Magenta (M), Yellow (N)
So, I haven’t mentioned it yet, but I’d really like to implement a whole bunch of enby/GNC characters into this. It’s my duty as an enby myself. So yeah, now there’s three small and interchangeable children ready to fight and/or kill God itself. Not much to say about them except their morality lies with the player (i’ll talk a bit about that later), and that they’re all super kidcore aesthetic creatures.
(also I know that a Yellow already exists, but like this obviously doesn’t follow comic book cannon. I’m trying to go for a theme and continuity errors won’t stop me)
- Leftover MC
I’ll probably just keep it simple, and have it so that only one other MC will appear next to the rival, and they’ll pick the type-disadvantage Pokémon. In this form, LO will probably be really shy, and rely heavily on the player to help them through things (just thought of a cute bit where LO asks the player for some kind of pep talk, all sound cuts off for 10 seconds, and then LO responds all happy and “You’re right I just have to believe”). They’re probably have a somewhat generic arch where they learn to be more confident while also learning that it’s not bad to be cautious. idk they’re not that important but I also want them to have a purpose. Maybe when I figure out the overarching plot they’ll get just that.
- Rival: Keegan - he/him
the main Rival! Keegan is a major “Mysterious cool flirty coolboy” type and since both of you got Pokemon at the same time, you’re the main target. Sadly since he isn’t an actual teenage vampire or anything, he’ll eventually fail and embarrass himself a couple times. He’s the type of kid that needs a good ass-kicking (metaphorical or physical you pick) in order to really realize what he’s doing. I think he’s gonna start out LO’s foil, but eventually grow to become the player’s foil. Whatever that means to you.
- Professor Azul Sequoia
My mans here Professor Sequoia is very unlike most other professors. If there’s one thing he isn’t, it’s “friendly energetic mentor figure.” He is very socially awkward and doesn’t talk much, often opting to not talk at all. It’s very intimidating for newcomers, especially with his ginormous height (if possible, I’d love for Sequoia to be two squares tall since this man is mammoth) and piercing eyes. It’s quite obvious that he became a professor in order to work with Pokemon, as with them he can chat freely. Overall, he’s a good dude, and he gives the best advice if you’re willing to hear it (fun fact I stole this character from Nintendo lol)
- Champion: Orange - she/her
I’m gonna be completely honest, I know nothing about this woman. I do know that she may be an extremely important character depending on the plot. But for now, who knows. It’s important to state that she is currently in a state of mourning for reasons unknown to the player.
THE BADDIES (TEAM PRISM)
- Team Prism itself
so like what is the drive of these losers? - to put it simply, I got no fucking clue. I have an outline of a possibility, but I’ll need more brainstorming to figure the whys (which may involve the legendary pokemon I still have to design and birth). i do have stuff to report, though.
Team Prism is somewhat of a callback. It’s once again a simple organized group of ne'er-do-wells wrecking havoc on the region. Most of the grunts were seduced by the paycheck, and for the most part partake in simple steals/attacks. Only the leaders know the full truth behind the team. But it all leads somewhere.
One thing that I’d like to figure out how to program  is the ability to have people as “pokemon.” If I am successful in this idea, then hypothetically a MC could deposit all pokemon into the box, walk into tall grass, and fight pokemon. the MC would have relatively simple commands and generally weak health, but it would be a last-ditch attempt if your team got wiped. (I would go nuts if I could somehow program Nurse Joy asking if the player would like to heal, before throwing them on the same bed used for the pokeballs and healing them the same way (flashing lights and all). That would be amazing.)
I’m bringing this up because Team Prism, at heart, aren’t pokemon trainers. They’re a legitimate team of organized crime-doers. Sure, some of them will have actual Pokemon, but many of them won’t. You’ll have to battle real people. And as such, the rules are a little different. For one, fleeing is an option. They won’t leave, but you aren’t stuck in a battle. I want there to be a difference between “fainting” humans and straight up killing them (this is the MC morality thing I was talking about). If I’m lucky I can either have getting into the red register as a non-lethal defeat, or else attempt to implement overkill damage that, if filled, lethally defeats the enemy. Something else, the enemy can hold a weapon if they don’t have a pokemon. you can be “crowbar”d, or even “pistol”d, though a move like that will most definitely have a lowered accuracy and only 6 moves. But yeah stuff like that. They might not be opposed to murder. Fun times.
- Fract & Flect (or Fralect if you don’t know who’s who) - elite officers
Two twins, each sharing half a bankrupt morality. It’s nearly impossible to tell the two apart, which is actually pretty impressive considering the fact that they’re fraternal twins. No one’s sure whether it’s one and the other or both, but at least one of the two is best at planning, and at least one of the two is best at executing. Regardless, they are quite a deadly duo.
- Vis - executive  - he/him
A loyal member of the team. Even if he may appear as a lax, somewhat annoying guy at first glance, he is very dedicated to the cause of Team Prism. Though he doesn’t kill, he doesn’t hesitate to punish disobedience accordingly or to throw out threats like candy. There may be more to this one, though . . .
- Rayd - executive - she/her
The least developed one in this group. I’ll bond with her character soon, she just needs to bake a lil more. At this moment, she’s generally pretty brutal but doesn’t really seem to enjoy it (not that she dislikes it either).
- Infra - boss - he/him
the co-leader of Team Prism. He does not speak, but that does not mean he can’t cause fear. He seems to be the more level-headed of the two. If Ultra somehow can’t quiet a roomful of grunts, all Infra has to do is clear his throat. Let’s just say that those who make a scene aren’t usually seen again. However, when he isn’t around, a couple grunts have the guts to whisper rumors of his past, and of who or what he is.
- Ultra - boss - unknown
the co-leader and founder of Team Prism. The more wild of the two, and also the one with motive. If you want answers, Ultra is the only one you’ll get them from. Strangely enough, they seem to know quite a lot about you. Too much. They will become dangerous if it starts looking like the goal of the team will fail, so be careful. This is especially as their health begins to decline throughout the adventure. (I’m genuinely using they/them pronouns for Ultra because I have no clue what their gender should be lol).
so that’s what I got rn character-wise. I’ll probably figure out a part 2 with all the gym leaders and whoever I missed, but that’s for when it’s not 5:36 am three days later. So yeah. Goodnight :3

Intro
WELCOME TO POKEMON DISPERSION!!!
This is a little passion project that I’ve been obsessing over for a while now. I’ve always wanted to learn how to code and make a video game, but I’ve never had a real idea of what to do until now.
As stated, this will be heavily themed by light, darkness, and color. So, for example, the main team threatening the island will be team Prism, lead by Infra and Ultra, with henchmen named Fract, Flect, Vis(ual) etc. The rival’s name is Keegan (for key, like the printer black color). The official names of the MC (main children) will be Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, whatever get it get it. Hopefully completely dedicating to the bit 150% will help separate this from Black and White enough.
Also as stated, this is currently still being workshopped! I’ve just barely gotten the characters together (probably gonna replay the first couple games so I can get a good idea of what I’m working with since I have a constant intense fear of having my characters end up OOC, especially when I’m bringing over characters from games in the past [that is the only secret I will give at this time hehe]), and I haven’t even looked at the setting. I only know that I won’t be basing the place off of any real-world equivalent. I’ve got a shaky plot but it’ll need time. I mainly made this acct. so I could post updates on what’s goinn on
I have violently fluctuating interest levels at all times (this is what, my 25th project currently? I like starting things), so I guarantee that this will not come out within the next year. Not even close. However, I do guarantee that it will inevitable come out. Even if it takes a while, It’s only canceled when I say so.
I can’t wait to spend like 60 bucks on RPG maker and watch 50+ coding videos on youtube
