Dave the snake
Dave the snake helped out with the shoots. A heavy 8ft snake which everyone hold apart from me because I was scared lol. The print and texture however is inspirational photos that I will keep and might use in future.

SS22 WOWENSWEAR
Luckily, i was offered to go back to London on 9th September 2021 to help with their SS22 Womenswear shoot! The full day the team was in the studio from 9am-7pm. It was a long successful day.
My role was to...
-organise the looks in order with the shoes
-order the lineup board
- Style the models ( there was only 2 this time so it wasn't a rush)
-cafe runs
I loved the opportunity to do both collection. Mens and Women's. The women's wear only had 20 looks as Jordan Luca Is more of a menswear brand. However they wanted a little of women's to expand their brand. So they only took shoots and mini videos to show their collection which is now shown on their website and fashion week. Along with my name !

Finished my 3 month...
I finished my placement after 3 month of working for Jordan Luca . But my last day in the studio wasn't expected due to Covid.
Overall
i was honoured to be given a chance to be apart of Jordan Luca team.It was live changing moving down to London on my own to a city i rarely knew. it was a big step going into the fashion industry especially with covid-19 .i was very lucky to be going in the studios, going to shoots and especially both fashion weeks which was my favourite part of Jordan Luca. Ive learnt so many skills along the way such as production, pattern cutting, styling and i have certainly understood the way of looking at the brands inspiration.and researching into different ways of been creative. This has 100% give me more confidence to start third year.
I met so many unique designers, photographers, makeup artists and models during my placement.I loved to hear about their backgrounds and how their fashion experience has been. It's made me excited for my future path way.

places I got sent to
- the print shop where all the JL prints went onto there t-shirts
-Agency 11, where they have all the designer brands. The garments are lent out to shoots
- Maculloch and Wallis LTD which was good for trimming and fabric, you could get a lot from there. However it is over priced.

- shop for food

AW21 Shoot for the release
Shoot day.
The shoots were planned to be taken around the studio and In London centre so the team had to split. I offered to go into central London heading for around Bond Street. My team was Jordan, Sophia, the two models and the photographer. Before going we had to make notes of what Jordan and Luca wanted the models to wear. (photo 4-6 shows the notes we had to follow). The models had to change in the middle of London in an alley way. We done this for the full day and had to shoot 8 different looks in 3 different locations.

Knit Research
another task that was given was to research into the word ‘ Argyle’. I never heard it before but with viewing a picture. Jordan and Luca were interested in using this knit pattern for their next collection. Argyle was created in the 17th century but went in fashion after First World War ( 1920s) in Britain and America.
JL pervious knit was popular shirt ( photo 2). They wanted me to develop from this. So I played with the sleeves, made It oversized, added zip and mixing the Argyle pattern. ( I didn't take a photo of my developments which im sad about )
photo 3- ideas
photo 4- knit pattern for ss22
photo 5&6- is another idea. From photo 4 which is SS22 and photo 5 inspired that pattern onto a wide knit long sleeve top like the SS22 knit.

New research
JL wanted some ideas for AW22. Their focus is on what represents Britain. Looking at romper stopper, this is England, kids club, drag, teddy boys and billie Elliott . Research is my favourite part of starting a collection. Looking at detail silhouette, colours.
Gathering up all my research I started doing some quick sketches
photo 1&3- photos that we all shared in the group
photo 2- moodboard
photo 4- Following the silhouette of oversized. Creating a long shirt dress with the Britain flag included. Underneath is the Iggy top been designed as a ragged, frayed top. Which could be worn ontop of the shirt dress I designed
photo 3- inspired by the oversized outwear I created a sheer coat.
photo 4- all my developments with my moodboard infront of me. I developed coats, shirts, tops and jeans. Another event that inspired me was the detail of Morris dancing.
viewing my work Jordan and Luca commented I was good at developing and they liked my ideas a lot which I was pleased about.

photo 2- again with the outwear coat
photo 3- the Iggy top inspiration over a shirt
photo 4- the details on the coat and change of fabric on the arms
photo 5-  details structuring the shirt

The Iggy Top
The Iggy top was created in SS20. Its an iconic garment that you can get in white, black and diamanté. A lot of shoots use this iconic garment as it can go under or over anything.

Research
Jordan and Luca wanted some research and ideas for their AW22. The creative part is my strongest. So I had to explore what Jordan Luca is, Look at their key features ( Iggy top), pervious collections and build something upon that.
what Jordan Luca is about
Merging Italian heritage with the raw intensity of London, Jordan and Luca take a holistic approach to menswear and masculinity. A visceral instinct to study the form and its possibilities.
In my opinion Jordan Luca is focused on diverse silhouettes, crazy fabrics and the confidence in mens sexuality. Its a fun designer to work for.

SS22 Menswear
On the 6th June 2021 we went to Kent on the train to record Jordan luca’s collection. It was an amazing opportunity to do. Even though covid-19 happened we still managed to have a show! When arriving at the car site there was two different vans one for the models and makeup. Hair outside and the other for drinks, food and to chill. Thankfully with been outside it didn't rain at all.
9-10am- we unpacked and hung up all the garments and shoes in order 1-38 following the pictures that were put up on the blackboard.
11-12pm- I offered to help the makeup artist prep the models skin
12-12:30pm -styling for the first 6 looks with the help from Nicole
12:30- onwards the models were sent onto the runway
my job was to
-check the shoes were clean
-the garments were ready. Did it look like the photo?
-if anyone needed anything, scissors, pins, hair spray, to moisture the models back of the legs, arms, any water?
-shoes were on correctly. If anyone needed plasters as models had blisters or was bleeding.
Then we had a break where I got people food and drinks
then from that it continued... we finished at 6pm with a successful day!

-safety pins
-snippers
-pins
