Unpopular Opinion Time

The doodle you make or the picrew you use, the poorly executed poetry or basic bare bones prayer will ALWAYS be better than AI generated offerings.

I am sick of having my feed flooded with practitioners, pagans and other polytheists using AI. Specifically deities like Brigid should never be offered AI in my opinion, it’s essentially a slap in the face.

AI generated spells aren’t shit, it’s what a computer assumes will work based off of what it can gather from internet trends and research. MAKE IT YOURSELF, ask a human for help anything but AI.

There is no place for Artificial Intelligence in these spaces.

i think it’s fascinating (and really heartwarming) when a deity just picks you up like a little tamagotchi when you start working with them. literally just excited to be around you so they start smacking you with signs over and over again.

i feel a good connection with hades because of his energy. i’ve always thought him like a father figure but it’s fascinating to have apollo around who is more attributed to my life (being the patron of arts and all). so its kinda funny that it’s just like:

*needs help with something but don’t know who to ask* “ah fuck. idk. maybe i’ll light this person’s candle-“

apollo, sending me a post about him as the first thing i see: HEY!!! HI!!! HELLO!!! PICK ME!!! I CAN HELP!!!!! JUST ASK!!!!! PUT ME IN COACH!!! I WANNA TALK!!

PSA: the Greek myths are not real. They are not real documentation of events. If you go into communication with deities only believing that they will be how they are in the mythology you're gonna be really surprised when Zeus shows up to tell you he's proud of you for graduating.

The myths were created to tell stories. You should take what happens in the myths with as much weight as you'd take what happened in Bible stories. These are myths that were never meant to be taken as the truth, written in a language that doesn't exist anymore, after being passed around orally in a language that doesn't exist anymore, in a time where words meant different things. The myths are not a good source for what a god is like or what they have done. Do not treat them like the Pinnacle of truth and do not belittle others for their preferred Greek myths.
