I took some LoveShackFancy collab inspired photos! I don’t actually own any of the clothes from it at the moment, so I made do. The strawberries are from an old strawberry shortcake rag doll box. It wasn’t big enough to cover the full background in some photos so I (very poorly) edited the rest in.

I need to talk about the latest wbu video, because this is not okay

Major spoilers for Maritza's book, Lead With Your Heart. Proceed with caution.

I've got a BIG complaint with the latest world by us youtube video from AG.

In the video, they completely change Maritza's fundraiser for her friend Violeta's uncle! In the video, they say he got sick and couldn't work, and the family couldn't afford the hospital bills so they might lose their apartment.

In the book, Maritza's class talks about immigration and she learns that her friend Violeta's uncle Andrés is undocumented immigrant and has been detained by immigration. He came to the US ten years ago from El Salvador to work, and then later sent for the rest of his family, including Maritza's friend Violeta. Maritza's entire book focuses on her speaking up for injustice and immigrant families. She uses her platform online and at the upcoming soccer showcase to talk about families belonging together, and raises money for Andrés's legal fees.

This is the entire plot of Maritza's book, and I'm pretty pissed they took they changed it the video. Maritza's cause is immigrant rights and keeping families together, and its really messed up that they took it out of the youtube video for her.

Meet Anuli! A very unexpected addition to my collection. I was gifted this doll (I believe she is a JLY 31) by a friend (yay!), but I gave her a new wig as her old one had been cut very unevenly. Her wig is from ZaZouDolls! I think she is so cute ☺️ I am still deciding everything about her and her story, but I am having fun doing it! I will post more once I’ve gotten further.
