𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚝𝚘𝚗 nervously glanced at the clock, feeling as if the ticking was taunting him. ‘𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕤𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕙𝕚𝕞 𝕠𝕗𝕗, 𝕊𝕙𝕖𝕝𝕕𝕠𝕟.’ He imagined the clock saying as it’s hands pointed to 7 and 3. “Seven fifteen.” 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚝𝚘𝚗 sighed, worried that ᔕᑭOᑎGEᗷOᗷ had been running late. He knew, of course, that such aGOOᗪ ᕼEᗩᖇTEᗪ ᔕᑭOᑎGE  wouldn’t stand him up, but that didn’t stop his 𝙖𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 from nagging at him

As soon as Plankton was sure the sponge was gone, he furiously dug through ever closet, cabinet, and drawer with the intent of finding his fanciest clothes.

“Come on! Where on earth is- found it!” The scientist exclaimed as he grabbed the tux and ran into his room to try it on. Despite being buried under various other articles of clothing, mostly disguises, the suit had remained in surprisingly good condition, with only a few wrinkles which were few and far between.

“It fits!” He burst, erupting in a spell unintentionally maniacal laughter

Spongebob, meanwhile, had a suit easily on hand for an occasion such as this. After snatching a quick shower, spraying cologne and dressing up, it was only a matter of which colour bowtie to wear with his tux.

“What do you think, Gare-bear? Blue or red?”

“Meow?”

“For my date– uh… outing, Gary, remember? … Hm. I think red. It matches his eye…” Giggling, he quickly and skillfully adjusted it around his collar, and made his way out the door. “I’ll be back by ten! Wish me luuuuuck!”

His tone was soothing, almost maternal, and he couldn’t help find it a little endearing how Plankton seemed so naive to certain well known things. He was happy to educate him, however. “It happens sometimes in summer. You’ll get a stuffy nose, and a lotta eye itching. But there’s medicine you can get to help with that! And you might wanna get some drops for that poor eye.”
