sometimes i wonder if i was put here as a punishment or if i chose this for some reason. im quite sure that i fell. i never resonated with the church i was raised in, always felt a wrongness with it, asked too many questions that made people upset. i cant help but feel like this is in parallel to what heaven was like, im quite sure i would never like a place like that, never quite fit. i suppose it would make sense if i was put here as some kind of punishment for that, i really just have never felt very human, my body doesnt feel right, my mind doesnt feel right either. sometimes i find myself hoping that whatever this is, if it happens again, ill get reincarnated into the body of some other type of being, a tern, a diatom, a maple tree. just anything else. im not good at being human. the design of the body seems poor to me, so many issues that exist without reason.

other times though i do feel as though i must have chosen this in some way, although maybe in a limited capacity. i love the earth, even though it such a mess right now. i love nature and physics and the patterns of things, even though i know there will not be enough time in this lifetime to fully understand them. i wonder maybe if i chose a human body, albeit reluctantly, because i knew this would be the best way to experience as much of this information as possible. many animals know these things in their own way, but they just dont have the same information networks as human. i may have worried about missing out on this. other times i think maybe i wanted to participate in the act of creation, it feels very good to make something with my hands, something that exists to be worn or for its own sake. of course, many animals create things too, nests, etc, but humans are just so intricate about these things for its own sake, i think maybe that would fascinate me, maybe be what drew me in. its funny, since technically neither humans nor angels can create in the 'real' sense. maybe i found that humorous.

i mostly just lurk in angelkin tags because im never quite sure i belong there, so if this resonates with anyone do let me know, id be very interested to know if other people feel caught up like this. im also going to put this in the angelkin tag directly because i really feel like i am still an angel even though i fell, i hope this isnt taboo.
