reading this really old junot book (which only briefly summarizes his life and everything i know about him already /nerd) and found this anecdote cute 😋😋

For now, when they're not at war, these young people are mainly thinking about having fun. Junot tries to forget Pauline Bonaparte by chasing girls, without being too particular about their origins. Bonaparte, hampered by his small size and Corsican accent, is less successful.
