Digital Transformation
Supported several clients and affiliates in the education field to reimagine their business, culture, and customer experience to create or modify their offerings for the digital age.
Example: the below sample from a blended learning 3-years framework created for a TVET provider.
Getting Started with Blended Learning Guide - Sample
Mapped out cross-departmental processes to support all teams in implementing long-term frameworks on time while ensuring high-quality production.
Example: the below sample from a process map for implementing transitioning +800 courses from a classroom offering to a digital one.

Content Production & Strategy
Created content maps based on logic jumps and tags-connections for clients to help them maximize the value of each piece of content they populate. The maps are aligned with the client’s strategic goals and built by design to be expandable and flexible so that the client can always update their strategy according to market needs and trends.
Example: the below sample from a content & logic map created for a client who wanted to deliver online self-help content for adults.
Content Logic Map - Sample (Confidential Company)
Another content map approach developed for a client is what I like to call “the overlapped resources” approach. This approach allows the client to reduce their production load while maintaining their desired outcomes.
Example: a content strategy can include 24 unique courses that construct 6 packages of 5 courses each. Traditionally and without pre-designed overlaps, 6 packages will require developing 30 unique courses. The overlapping approach afforded the client the flexibility in selling the courses in customized packages alongside shifting their operational focus from continuously developing content for primary topics to generating new activities and interactive tools that help customize content and make it more adaptive to the needs of the market.
The entire model is set to use the smallest of resources for maximized impact. Below is the content development strategy presented to writers so they can write according to the “overlapped resources” approach.

Learning Experience Design - LXD
LXD is the process of creating learning experiences that enable the learner to achieve the desired learning outcome in a human centered and goal oriented way. Hence, LXD is mostly applied in designing user experiences for the masses.
Created the LXD journey for several clients to help them visualize the final product and match their offering to their intended audience.
Example: the sample below illustrates a user journey created for a client who wanted to deliver self-help content for the masses. This type of user journey allows for:
Allowing learners to choose their preferred “action” and control their own experience.
Hiding the content logic and mapping from all users (i.e: competitors).
Learners' User Journey - Sample

*Note: The sample user journey has been adapted to showcase core concept only and reduced to protect client’s privacy.

Training of Trainers - ToT
Created several ToT workshops for several clients and affiliates. I always design my workshops on 3 major pillars, and these are:
The training must be based on science, research, and the industry’s quality standards.
The training must start at the level of experience that most trainees have - not above and not below.
The training must allow trainees to apply the targeted skills immediately and to test their own progress.
Example: the sample below is from a workshop I created and delivered for university-level instructors on learning design and transforming their classrooms into digital or digitally-enhanced ones.
Learning Design Workshop - Sample

Created “experiential” and “day-long” workshops for clients to help them train their local facilitative teams.
Example: image below is from a time where I took the lead of onboarding a facilitative team and training them on curriculum delivery and classroom management. The facilitative team delivered an innovation and creativity course at 4 higher education institutions.
As for the onboarding experience and aside from a week of on-the-job training, I created a day program called “Try Something New” to help facilitators get to know each other as their job requires high teamwork skills and also allow them to expand their capacity for flexibility and dealing with the fast-paced activities. See images below.

Team Leadership, Management, & Communication
Built, lead, and managed a brand Ambassadors Program for an affiliate organization to better connect it with university-level learners on the ground. The Ambassadors Program held over 20 events in its first two years and had 50 ambassadors leading over 10,000 student members across its communities in Jordan - in addition to recruiting over 250 new ambassadors across the Arab world. Below is a document that showcases program’s structure and culture.
Ambassadors Program Brief - Sample

Built internal units for a couple of clients/affiliates called “academies”. I design each academy to focus on knowledge sharing between internal departments. I base my decision of which areas of knowledge to tackle on current problems/gaps in the organization that require a capacity for high communication skills to solve/fill.

Instructional Design - ID
Developed ~20 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) with Edraak - focused on bringing forth the first of their kind online courses on a variety of topics that were lacking in online Arabic content. The top 5 in order of popularity at the time are:
(Click titles to view the courses at Edraak)
1. Online Freelance Work - in collaboration with hsoub.com /United Kingdom.
2. Paper Art: Origami and Quilling - in collaboration with Waragami World /Jordan.
3. Marketing for Startups - in collaboration with Dr. Dana Kakeesh /Jordan/
4. Teaching in a Blended Learning Environment - in collaboration with the University of British Columbia /Canada.
5. Introduction to Overcoming Learning Difficulties - in collaboration with SKILD Center /Lebanon
The Marketing for Startups Course trailer is also a favorite, I have ideated and managed its production:

Blended Learning
Done a lot of work in blended learning including designing frameworks, ToTs, workshops, and a MOOC around what blended learning is and how to teach in a blended learning environment.
One of my favorite products to showcase is the Arabic adaptation and translation of Dr. Kevin Yee’s list of 288 Interactive Techniques to use in blended and virtual environments. The adaptation was published at the Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence | University of South Florida.
Here is the Arabic adaptation, and here is the original work by Dr. Yee.
Created and co-delivered a workshop for teachers, instructors, and SMEs who are starting off their blended learning journey (image below). The workshop included a gallery wall (sample below) to help inspire participants visually to engage with blended learning principles.

Open Educational Resources - OERs
Created and delivered several workshops on open educational resources OERs. The sampled workshop was held at the the University of Jordan’s 4th International Conference of E-Publishing (ICEPUB). The workshop builds a base for participants, specially librarians, to understand OERs and licensing at large and provides them with application activities that reinforce ways in which they can join and lead the OERs movement in the Arab world.
OERs Workshop - Sample
Submitted Edraak’s application to present the organization’s work at the “Open Education Global Conference 2018 | Netherlands” as Edraak is a leader and a trendsetter in open education in the Arab region. Image below from the presentation day.

Research & Development
I do not have access to most of the research I have conducted for my clients and affiliates. I have the final findings for the below research questions and I am happy to share “personal” insights on each by email or a phone call.
Research Questions:
1. Are videos better instructional tools than text by evidence?
2. What are the best practices of instruction for higher education (adult learning) on an online platform, including but not limited to: andragogical approaches, use of educational videos, readings, structure, flow, and assessment?
3. What are the best practices of instruction for K-12 education language learning on an online platform, including but not limited to: pedagogical approaches, use of educational videos, readings, structure, flow, and assessment?
4. What are the best practices of instruction for K-12 education mathematics learning on an online platform, including but not limited to: pedagogical approaches, use of educational videos, readings, structure, flow, and assessment?
5. What are the best digital transformation strategies for non-educational institutions to enter the digital knowledge sharing space?
